$20 feels expensive since the course isn't particularly well maintained. But the Lions course is fun and grueling, definitely not suitable for most players.

#1 in VA. Perfect blend of beat in and raw woods. Most of the short pads require the same shot just shorter. Every hole is unique and will require every shot you got. Hole 8 is a dud tho. Will play again for sure

Physically demanding! Challenging but fair course, requiring you to place your shots precisely. We played the short tees and it is still very long and difficult but fair.

Needs to be better trimmed. Grass is almost knee high. Otherwise an incredible course

Very challenging. Not cart friendly. Lots of fun. Bring water and snacks. It’s a great place.

The MPO Lake Marshall layout is one of the hardest and most grueling courses I've ever played (and I've played Nevin), but it is still a very fun course with epic scenery and views.

One of the best courses in the country. Incredible use of landscape and elevation. Excellent risk-reward on every water carry, and beautiful scenery throughout. Drove 4 hours just to play here and it was entirely worth it

Was expecting more from this course with its designation as one of the top courses in the country. It was definitely a unique course with great personality. Lots of steep hills and challenging water shots, long and fairly technical holes. Design was good with good throwing lines and there were tee pads and signs and good wayfinding. For such a highly rated course I was hoping it was better kept up. Some tee boxes were wearing down. Signs were pretty basic and a lot of the grass was so long in the fairways I had trouble locating my disc at times. The app didn’t seem accurate for some holes and hole 16 the fairway was basically a swamp. I wish I would have played Lair course instead of Lion but I didn’t see that listed in the app as an option. I imagine this course was really great a couple years ago. It’s still very nice and very challenging. But it didn’t meet my expectations for top 50 world course.

Grass is tall, adding to the challenge. Excellent layout. Top 5 course out of 600+ I’ve played.

I traveled far to play some of America’s best courses from maple hill , blue ribbon pines to diavolo. This place shares a seat at the table of all the disc golf course epics! To really get the experience , camp there two nights and play lambs , lairs and lions .
