About the course

Enjoy stunning scenery with views of high Rocky Mountain peaks and Dillon Reservoir as you traverse this challenging alpine disc golf course. Lake Dillon's Main Course features significant elevation change and a solid mix of wooded and open holes. Be prepared for uphills, downhills and side-hill traverses and possible rapidly changing weather conditions. Sturdy footwear, rain gear and plenty of water are highly recommended. Tee one is located a good ways uphill from the parking lot (minimum 10 minute hike) so plan your time accordingly. A practice basket, 12 hole warmup course (see the "Family Course" listing) and portable toilet (seasonal) are all available at the base area. Pets are welcome at Lake Dillon DGC but dogs must be leashed at all times and picked up after. Please pack out trash or use the receptacles near the parking lot. No glass bottles or open flame. DIRECTIONS - Take exit 205 from I -70 and head south on Highway 6 toward Keystone - Turn left on Cemetery Road and turn right at the first opportunity to access the parking lot

First 8 holes or so utilize lots of elevation changes but not much cant be reached without some kind of open hyzerline. Kind of basic and without a spotter in the sage brush you can look for awhile for good shots, it really burns up energy quick. After hole 9 you play a bit more wooded golf with more minor elevation changes and some tunnels. Teepads are kind of small compared to regulation. Challenging course but not very exciting beyond the views. I'd rather play Frisco 9/10 times. Check out my round at Akt1ondiscgolf on YT.
