@geigerhyzer
Clean park course with a mixture of technical and power shots. Water only comes into play on a couple holes.
@dgdchan
Cool park style course, laid out kinda oddly though, long walks between holes. The hill top shots are cool though!
@billthecrusher
Pretty cool course all around the park. Hole 3 by the water is a great touch. A lot of baskets are near fences. Long walks between some holes. Everything was nice and clean. There was a band playing the entire time I played 😎
@cntbg23
Beautiful park with water as a backdrop for some beautiful shots in the front nine. Some subtle elevation makes for some fun shots but a tough windy round. Extra holes were dope but take you away from the tranquil feeling of seeing the water in the distance.
@alexhertzog
Great city park course that use man-made hills to its advantage. Between city Park and Lafernier I think Lafrenier is slightly better
@cerealman
As one of the first 100 permanent disc golf courses established, the Lafreniere Park course boasts a park-style layout that has stood the test of time for more than 40 years, though the over-crowded venue and bland design earn this historic landmark only a decent rating. @citronautmarc
Well-maintained course of mostly open holes with big trees to shoot around. I liked the holes that utilized elevation changes on mounds around the park. A few holes I had to alter the shots I wanted to take due to people in the way or vehicles. I played one day after a rainy day and it was well-drained with only a few minor muddy patches.
@bradbrandon4jc
Praise Jesus!!! 😆✝️ Beautiful course with a variety of shots and a good mix of some open & some tighter holes! 🏆 A very good option for the New Orleans area! 🙌
@djdavydave
Great course. Couple of spots to get lost, but Udisc map is spot on 👌. Expect wind. Small bit of water occasionally in play.
@olukalns
Great course. Lotta low ceilings. Good shot variety. ANY skill level could play here and have fun
@bigmikediscgolf
Great park! Would be harder to navigate without Udisc. Love how the course wraps around the park.
@titties
The course was once beautiful and full of luscious healthy trees. Now, for some frustrating unknown reason, almost all holes have had branches cut off. This has left the trees bare and maimed. The freeways are also overun with pedestrians enjoying the park. What has been one of my favorite courses now haunts me.
@enteraqua
Always well maintained, very little trash. It may seem more crowded on the last 9 holes, but is still fun to play.
@zaccattack
Some open, some short. Good mix. Enjoyed it.
@davidtomlinson
Good course just lots of peoples every where
@taylor89
Unplayable during busy hours of the park due to families who have picnics on the fairways/greens and in some cases sunbathers on the tee pads. Would not recommend playing during the weekends. Nearly every hole had people sitting right in the middle of the green.
@chriscalitri
Course redesign is phenomenal. Great flow, plenty of diversity of shot shapes. A+
@wadeferrari
Got to play here while passing through for work. This course is very well taken care of and a very challenging layout. Good mix of wooded, open, long and short holes. It certainly could have been the humidity but I was DYING on some of the longer holes. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in town!
