About the course

Kohala Winds DGC is in North Kohala Golf Park. For disc golfers, you MUST sign in and pay at the office by hole one before your round. You can park up in the county park (Kamehameha park) and start your round on hole 6 if the golf park parking lot is full. There is plenty of parking in the county park. Otherwise you can park at hole 1 as well if there is parking available as well. This course shares the property with a golf course. It also has 2 holes that play through the county park as well. It is a non-profit course as well. So all greens fees go right back into the park. Please remember that golfers have the right of way on the course. This is pack in, pack out course. However, there is a garbage can near the office. All golf greens and the course perimeter are out of bounds. Never throw your shot from the golf greens. The golf carts are for golfers only. No one-wheels are allowed on the course. However, pull carts like zuca and ridge rollers are fine.

Clean and well kept golf course track. Windy as advertised! John in the office was very friendly and accommodating, I am sure this course wouldn’t be as solid without him.

Beautiful course, very windy but playable. And I believe it’s the only public 18 hole course on the island. Would have given 5 stars, except this is really a 16-hole course with 2 holes on a different part of the property that severely interrupt flow. Would love to see this turned into 18 holes on one continuous course.
