About the course
Kitscoty DGC is located on the Kitscoty Golf Course and features 9 holes of golf with sand greens and 18 baskets of Disc Golf with multiple tee locations for all skill levels. The course plays along rolling hills, wide open distance shots, water carry/island greens, and plenty of placement shot greens with protected baskets.
Disc Golfers must yield right-of-way to Golfers when appropriate to do so, to ensure an amicable relationship between the two sports on the property. Please note that every Wednesday the Golf Club runs a Men's Night, so the course is quite busy from 5pm-8pm.
The course also has a clubhouse with beverages (alcoholic & non) and snacks. Golf carts are available to rent. Golf carts and pull carts on the course only please, no other motorized vehicles are permitted.
Please respect the property, pick up after yourself, do not damage or alter the course in any way... but most of all, have fun!
The course was fundraised, designed, constructed and is upgraded & maintained by the Lakeland Disc Golf Association and it's group of volunteers.
History
Lakeland Disc Golf Association (Wil Grainger, Clayton Hines, Aaron Chrapko, Ben Linton) pitched the proposal to the Kitscoty Golf Course board that we could install an 18 basket course on their sand green golf course to get more usage from the property, and Lakeland DGA would fund, build, and maintain the course while the golf course can collect and keep green fees to help with the mowing and maintenance of the course.
Lakeland DGA then found corporate sponsors for all holes + practice basket and designed and constructed the course, including signage design and installation, and turf tee pads.
The course hosted the first 2 annual Lakeland Open PDGA tournaments in 2024 and 2025.

This is an amazing course. Make sure you follow UDisc at the moment as the signs are still being made for the course. Grab yourself a cart at the office and go for a fun round of golf. Beautifully laid out, great lines and variety of tees (reds, whites and blues) for all skill levels to be met. Check it out if you are in the area or passing through and need a break from driving.
