Looking past some of the rough tees and tough way finding, this course is incredibly enjoyable. I make an effort to play once a year as I don't live in the area, and I think it's worth the stop. I also feel like it has improved year over year. If tee positions were a bit better updated in UDisc and the tees were full concrete, I would happily boost my rating!

Overall, a fun and challenging experience. I would like to see the signs and course map updated to be correct.

Amazing course, some wayfinding could've been better
@negauneenick
Great course! Awesome layout! Big Thanks to Fred from Fern for all of your hard work! Much appreciated✌️
@qmoebius
There’s a few holes that are a little hard to locate. Some tee pads were messed up and coming apart. Overall it’s a hike of a course but still had a good round!
@bmyoungs10
Fun course in a beautiful area. Signage could be better, tee pads are pretty short, and the length between holes is very long on a lot of holes.
@jessiykmonster
I love it here.
@jucifer
One of the most beautiful fun courses I’ve ever played. New favorite!
@spacepotatoe
This course is absolutely beautiful (especially during the color change). You gotta say hi to Fred if he is maintaining the grounds when you’re here. Absolutely worth a stop of play a quick 18 if you’re in the area.
@glubadubzz
Super fantastic course with great shot variety and use of elevation change.

Proper parking lot is tricky to find first time. Not a bad hike at all for being on a ski hill, don't let that thought deter you from enjoying this very nice course. Feel it could be renumbered to avoid some of the walks but I parked in the wrong lot and started on mid course. Some weird navigation spots, with limited cell signal but it was doable

This is a good course that is SO CLOSE to being a great course! Truly, this course could be one of the absolute best. Cons: 1) Lack of funding. This is a massive detriment to this course. If someone wanted to turn this into a near competition level course - which would require better tee pads, signage, opening up a couple fairways, attention to amenities, and a salaried person for continuous maintenance - they could, and would easily be able to charge per round, hold tournaments, and turn this into an incredible destination course. This in turn could likely allow the course to be a financial asset to itself and the surrounding area. 2) Signage. It's useless as it appears to have been for an older design. 3) Tee pads. They either don't exist, or - if a hole has tee pads - they are far too short for any sort of runup. 4) Amenities and maintenance. There's small benches and garbage cans at most holes, but the trash cars were near full, and everything could be nicer. Pros: Simply, this course has the potential to be amazing. Gorgeous scenery, plenty of elevation with nice downhill bombs, all sorts of shot shapes, and multiple tees. In conclusion: it looks as though the community came together generously to sponsor this course, and it's obvious that a lot of hard work has been put into, it's just so close to being at "the next level". Either way: very enjoyable, and definitely recommend playing it if you're in the area. To the people of Florence: you have an absolute gem, and thank you for the work you've done in creating this course. Please, please, please bring this course to the next level!

It’s worth leaving Michigan to play Keyes Peak. Fun course with lots of elevation
@braxler
Nice course. Am pads are family friendly. Pro pads are mid to short range but technical.
