@hostking
Typical day at Jones. Long grass, long holes, no shade, 10000% humidity
@dawson4
They have done quite a bit for the course and cleaned it up. It looks nice. Nothing professional. But a good course if it’s not windy.
@billthecrusher
Mostly wide open. Nice tees/signs/baskets but a basic layout. Many holes basically share fairways and some blind baskets. Most holes are 300+ do lots of driver practice. Water only really comes into play first few holes
@jvonthun
Basket 1 has been broken for a couple months. The city recently removed all the shrubbery and stumps left over from the 2020 derecho. Long term this is probably a good thing. Short term it makes the course even more wide open and uninteresting.
@heatheradams27
Great for February!!! When it’s 55 degrees and sunny, you gotta get out!!!
@contagiousmunk
So many goose turds, Jesus that’s a lot of goose turds….
@kelleyglenn
Relatively easy course after the derecho cleared some trees. Some good exercise. Navigating can be tricky for new visitors, due to tight layout and missing/incorrect numbers on baskets. Clean porta potty at hole 1 parking.
@cooter325
Nice tee pads. Grass is short. Baskets don't have numbers on them and the ones that do are wrong. This wouldn't be a big deal if so many baskets weren't so close to each other. Spend some money on this course instead of dumping it all into Shaver
@smith13pe
One big pasture of goose poop. It’s ironic that the city expects people to clean up after their pets but they don’t clean up after their pet geese. Health hazard for sure. Avoid it or least plan to wash your hands and equipment when done.
@drewmissal
Very open, bit of tree damage. Great for dogs, lots of sticks
@beaston013
wooded area is a bit messy but overall fun course
@richardroberts
Home course. Love it. Some different pin placements would be nice though.
