No tee pads. No tee signs just posts with a number sharpied in on. Usisc distances are off. Good baskets at least. No benches
@kylematt
John Bryan is a fun, quick course with a good mix of open and technical holes. The first four holes are mostly open and clear, but tee pads have trees or low branches on approach, which adds some sneaky challenges. Hole 5 plays a bit tight on the right side, and from holes 6 through 9 the course shifts into much tighter, wooded fairways that really test accuracy. The tee boxes are just dirt—worn down and not very well marked—so footing can be tricky, especially after rain when the later holes get muddy. Signage could definitely be improved, though navigation isn’t too difficult if you’re using an app. Overall, it’s a short but enjoyable course with some unique shot shapes, a couple of frustrating quirks, and enough variety to keep it interesting.

Ok, no tee pads and I get that but if they would hang big numbers on the poles and baskets that would be a HUGE upgrade for the open section. The open section wasn't much fun but ok for what it is. Navigation from 5 to 6 was not great, an arrow or two would be awesome. 6-9 were fun through the woods. I'd take 9 of those.

I enjoyed the front 5. Open fields with a lot of trees. Lack of tee pads didn't bother me but there are no signs. I would have been lost without Udisc. I would probably skip the back 4 if I went back. Heavily wooded and not maintained. Entire back 4 stunk like pee for some reason... It was weird. Hole 9 was a cool finish with a straight tight fairway downhill which was fun.
@atommac
Great nine hole close to the campgrounds. I wouldn’t make a trip to play it specifically, but if headed to the park for the weekend, definitely would bring them
@youenjoymydisc
This is a criminally underrated course that has some tough shots and good variety. Don't let some of the bad reviews shy you away It's not a destination course by any means but it's definitely overlooked. A cool place to play and not much traffic either.
@artyem72
Need add tee pad or rocks preventing from muddy ground. Basket number 7 is not stand straightened to fix it. Another than that it’s enjoyable and fun family courses
@tcox182
No tee boxes. Signage hard to find without UDisc. Thick underbrush if you throw off the fairway. Nice walk, the woods are pretty. Better for hiking than disc golf in its current state.
@irbium1
Holes 1-5 are relatively open. 6-9 tighten up. No tees pads. Decent course.
@sustin
Deep woods on the back few holes are a bit messy, but this is a good course!
@greenfox314
Use UDisc; this course is very hard to navigate without it. Overall, it’s a decent course. No teepads or signs, though.
@driverdave79
Definitely need the UDisc app to accurately navigate this course.
@dbthrop
Upkeep is not good in the wooded areas. Signage is most of the time non existent.
@raynakakura
Fun shots, nice park holes and wooded holes. Will come back again!
@chilt21
I will be doing work on this course soon to get it back to par, and start prepping new holes.
@endgame153
Nice quick course for camping or part of a trip to John Bryan. Beautiful view of the park. Well maintained fairways in the woods and in the clearer first five holes. Enjoyable.
