Really nice park with a solid course around the property. The course does come very close to a few playgrounds and picnic shelters that make it feel unsafe. New tee signs/next hole arrows would make navigating the course easier.
@awaningreign
Decent course. A LOT of unnecessary walking. Few holes easy to lose discs.
@capandcheese
My first course played I’m Virginia and it didn’t disappoint
@jsneeringer
Great shot shaping holes, signage for short is lacking and the walk between holes can be strenuous but overall great course.
@jtnorton
Course event always gets a five, did a great job marking course and Park had it really clean for us after some storms!

The park that this course is in is a beautiful park and also HUGE. There are good amount of open holes but also challenging ones with more woods. Played the Main Long Using the Pars from the signs. The pars are very gettable even if you don't have the best drive. Finding some of the holes without Udisc would definitely be a challenge, even with some of the holes having good signage of where it is located for a first time player it can still be difficult as you are walking around the entire park. This is a great diverse course with the only complains being that since this is in such a nice and popular park some of the lines that need to be taken on your shots may be getting in the way of people using some of the parks amenities so you will have to adjust your shot, skip the hole or talk to the other people in the park. Hole 18 is also very difficult in comparison to some of the narrow fairway tee shots so be careful and have fun!
@gchristas20
Decent course, a lot of trash, which I know is tough to maintain. Playing around a lot of people especially holes 13-15 (I think). Definitely has potential to be a really nice course.
@nathanalleman
This is one of those courses that if you manage to hit the gaps, is a fun time, but if you do not, feels unfairly tight on some holes. Interesting mix of short control shots, mid-range lines that punish you if you aren't clean off the tee, and some puzzling long par 3s that make no sense on what is billed as the white "amateur" course. In some of these cases, the long "advanced" tee offers an extra stroke for nominal distance difference. A few new pad locations are needed to scale the course to the aspirations of the cards That said, the shot variety is excellent, aided by elevation, trees varying in density, and good risk/reward putting situations. This is a pretty course, and one worth playing. Beware the lack of easy access to bathrooms!
@rdahland
Really fun, pretty decent shot variety. The island on 6 was one of my favorites. Play the white tee layout if you want an ego boost.
@briandejean
Home course. Top notch. Longs are awesome if you like a harder course. Shorts are much easier. Requires different shot shapes.
@guestfromoutoto
Would be nice to have a bit more signage directing you after hole 5 like they do at the end of hole 7. After 11 you get deeper into the woods, I would have had no clue if not for udisc app. Otherwise really fun course. Can get a touch repetitive at times (for RHBH) but does a good job keeping you honest towards the end. Also I don’t know whhhhats on about hole 18, but truly felt….off. Front 11 holes are 5/5 stars. Hole 14 and 16 are also top notch.
@velvethammer
Well maintained and fun course. Very forgiving pars. Hole 18 is pretty rough.
@peteevans38
Great course!
@gwlgreg
Tee pads need to be swept. 18 has one line that doesn’t match the line of the tee pad.
@davidmoose
Perfectly competent municipal park course, but it's been shoved in around all the other park infrastructure so many shots have pavilions or cars as targets. Hole 16 is usually busy with picknickers. Lots of poison ivy. The course could generally use a face-lift and better maintenance.
@anthonyscolaro
The shop variety from short and long are excellent one of the best courses in the area for that when the courses are maintained. Tee sign par is all wrong from like 1995. Course needs serious maintenance by Parks and Rec to clean up thorns, dead trees and the rough and bring the fairways back to their splendor. If they would let the local Club work it then it would be an excellent shape
