I wanna be clear on this review that I am grading this out as if it is a "true championship" level course, like is claimed by the course admins in the description. Spoiler alert: its not close to championship level. There are some really great holes here and the course is very challenging. However, aspirations for a championship level course have to come with a commitment to championship level maintenance. This course is poorly maintained at best. Lots of leaning baskets and pads that need updated. Hole 12 has no good way to get to the fairway. The only reasonable option is an awkward walk straight through the green of the previous hole. A champ level course would absolutely have a path through the Tallgrass in front of the pad. The course also does not play well in the wind at all. 13 through the end is just miserable in even a slight northerly wind. Additionally, clarification should be added on where to park. The road to the island holes has a road closed sign on it so you're looking at a half mile walk to get to hole 1. The bones if a champ level course are here. But for now, the course admits would be best to remove that claim from the description until someone is willing to take the bull by the horns and keep the course in better shape.

Super hard and eats your discs. Dont come here unless you are a confident player who can throw 300 ft+. Very very long but memorable.

Some better way finding/signage and numbers on the baskets would be good, it’s kind of hard to find the way to the next tee/correct basket.

Cost to play: $0. Cost of 2 lost discs: worth it. Stunning course. Nature does not want you to be here though lol. I didn’t keep score and just enjoyed the views and picked up shots I knew I’d beef. Long socks/pants a plus as there are lots of nettles in the fields and fairways. Also B basket on hole 2 is way more fun

Stunning. Challenging. Keep your discs in the fairways, the rough is rough. Even so, one of the most satisfying courses I remember playing, I will definitely come back to play the full track if I'm in the area again.

Very tough course with long holes, you will need to be in shape to play here. UDisc says average play 2:16 to play, but it will take at least 3hrs or more to play all 24 holes. Great elevation usage (may want someone spotting on several holes), water on a few holes. Beautiful views. Overall, a great course. Glad we stopped.

Parts of the course need a bit trimmed, but layout is amazing and alot of different types of shit variety. Bring your hiking boots for a good portion of the course.

Couldn’t finish after 5 holes, too thick

It’s a shame this course isn’t in better shape. Lots of potential but it needs quite a bit of trimming to establish fairways.

Really tough course to play blind. It would help if the teesigns indicated basket location. Rough is really rough, sacrificed a couple of my favorite discs. Nice course but far from elite.

Beautiful course! Lots of elevation change and the ever-present wind off the lake makes it interesting. The ground is pretty uneven on a few holes. Beware you don't twist an ankle or worse.

Pack two bottles of water and a sandwich. This is for a very long course

The island was closed so i was only able to play the outer 9, still worth the drive from Jud. Excellent use of elevation, beautiful views of the reservoir. There are a few paths and one entire hole that need to be mowed (all tall grass). A trash can half way and signage to the next tee pads would be nice.

If you're road tripping across North Dakota, this is a must stop. Excellent use of terrain.

Beautiful lakeside course. Well-maintained and nicely organized. Steep hills, water hazards, and long-ish holes make this one fun, scenic, and challenging.

A challenging, but fair course that you can tell is geared towards above average players. Good tees with decent signage (the signs work, but some holes are so long its hard to figure out exactly where the sign is directing you to). The course will ask many different things of you and you will likely use every disc in your bag. Worth a trip. Plus, the view from tee 1 is phenomenal.

Nice course with some fun elevation changes and water shots. Very tight fairways with dense vegetation at times, beginners will definitely lose discs.

This is one of the most amazing courses in the region. The course will take every shot in your bag and then some. Good mix of elevation, water, and tight fairways. Note: this is a Championship Level Course and it might not be very friendly to rec players. Signs have been updated to make navigation much easier.
