Tees are a bit short but most are otherwise in clean shape. This course is not professional level, but it is excellent to go and play with friends. I don’t live far away and I’ve played it several times, and it’s enjoyable every time I do! Par numbers are incredibly forgiving, as each hole would likely be a par three at any other course. Would recommend if you’re looking for good, simple fun!

Signage distance is misleading

Great beginner course , variety of shots. Tee pads are a little rough. Overall good course to get some practice on.

Fun course, need to add a different set of pars for advanced, but keep current ones for new players and kids

Fun course that plays well below it's par numbers for the average player.

Many short holdes. Esay to do below par.

Don’t let the first few holes near the buildings fake you out. It gets better. Good shot variety. Somewhat sandbagged par numbers, but makes you feel good.

Best course around for amateur players. Has a mixture of open and wood shots. River took 2 of my discs but I deserved it with my grip lock. Update on the course. Hole #4 is disgusting...almost best to skip it. It needs some upkeep...trees need trimming on some holes to make them playable. I hope they don't let this course go...

Super fun and exciting course. I would say the best course around in this general area. Some of the directions get kinda tricky but once you find it all out it's easy and makes sense. Definitely recommend this course to anyone experienced or beginning.

Some baskets are generous in the pars and not sure but some distance seem to be off to me

abryant

@abryant

Beautiful beginner course, but not much variety in the holes. Every basket is pretty much straight ahead, so not very technical. Pars are weird, everything could be par 3, but most are designated par 4. A couple of the tees have signs way too close to the pads.

Hidden gem Hole 2 basket placement is sketch if you overturn it. Shorter throws except 17/18.i PAR 3 course for sure

Great overall course, probably top 3 in West Virginia.

Course plays through beautiful historic mill buildings which was the childhood home of Thomas 'Stonewall' Jackson. Holes are a mix of short and long and wooded and open. Signage is good but the pars are off, not that pars matter that much. Tee pads are concrete but are pretty small.

Not a bad course tee boxes are great some are kinda pointed in the wrong direction. The par ratings are a little off. But if you are a new player and want to feel good about yourself having Eagle putts on 250 feet holes this is the place to be.

Excellent course with great scenery. This course has you walk through the whole of Jackson’s mill while playing. It has a nice mixture of hole types and styles and all tee boxes are cement pads.

Hole 2 is missing, buildings have been built in the middle of fairways, not the best sign's, up keep on some of the holes is bad. If you are in the area check it out but other that would not go out of my way to play.

Great shape, hole 2 is missing. Hole 5 has stuff you have to throw around. Other than that great beginner friendly course
