The open spaces play tricks with my distance estimates, so having UDisc or a range finder is helpful. However many of the baskets can’t be seen from the tee pad so you kinda just have to know your disc’s distances. There are two sets of baskets Orange and white and the signage on the tee pad seems to be opposite from reality which is weird, but UDisc seems to be correct. I liked the front nine much more than the back. I think playing both pin positions of the front 9 would be a really fun 18 holes

This course is absolutely insane! A super cool course with super cool shot varieties. Definitely a course you want multiple people with you. There’s a ton of blind shots which are really cool but a spotter would really speed things up. Definitely a hard course so if you’re looking for easy this ain’t it. Definitely recommend!

Great concept but poor execution. Too many blind shots that are unclear where the basket is. The parking area shares with an OHV trailhead. This leads to lots of broken glass, dirt bikes riding through the course and dealing with their noise. Rocks are rough and will chew up your discs. Bring your trashy ones. Make sure you have a full battery as you’ll be spending more time looking at it than the good scenery. Course has two basket for each hole, one orange and one yellow. Whoever created the signs put both colors for each basket (white basket with orange background and orange basket with white background), this was incredibly annoying as I kept forgetting which was which and had to repeatedly check UDisc for confirmation. One recommendation would be to have a layout that just had the visible baskets regardless of color for people visiting.

Lots of rocks, trees and bushes. Be careful and always have spotters with you.

Some very long throws, and a few long walks to the next tee pad. Def need to be able to hike a few miles with elevation to play this course. Hiking boots or something with a good, sticky sole. Super fun, super beautiful, bucket list course.

Wasn’t as good as expected, seemed kind of scattered with the layout and there wasn’t a good flow. Lots of climbing up and down boulders felt like overkill in course design. The course map/signs vs. the UDisc app were reversed for the orange & white locations & distance. The tee pad for hole 18 didn’t exist where the app led you.

Very intense and hilly but extremely fun and well thought out! So many of the baskets and tee pads are positioned on high rocks. Such a fun time

Could be super fun if you could see the baskets from the teepad. First 9 holes 5/5. Worth a stop if you have a partner to spot. If alone not worth the stop.

Super confusing even when using UDisc. Found additional tees. Need arrows on baskets in direction of next tee. Replace flags. Install taller flags/ poles to see where basket is

Played the white baskets on udisc layout. Turns out they are actually mixed orange and white... compare udisc map with hole map to actually know which one you're playing to. Course can be a little tricky when windy due to elevated and exposed basket locations on top of boulder piles. Pretty fun course but for the first few rounds, a spotter really is necessary on a few holes... nothing like winding up and letting it rip, into a blind landing area with no idea where the basket is.

Not a bad course. Very wet right now. Tee boxes were snowed over.

I love coming to southern Utah. There are so many excellent courses and Ironside is no different. It is definitely a work out but very well-maintained and a very fun course.

Since the thunderstorms stopped and the winds died down I decided to play Ironside right after 3Peaks. Last time I played the white baskets so this time I played the Orange baskets. I prefer 3peaks but definitely worth the stop if you are a medium to advanced player

You disc does not match either course accurately. Sometimes the orange sometimes the whites. Since I played all the orange baskets the pars don’t match. Super challenging in the wind. Plan to search for your disks for a while.
