About the course

The Ironside Bluffs course explores above, below, and mostly up/down the beautiful Show Low Bluffs hiking trail. The course is not cart friendly, or for those feint of heart. Be prepared for a difficult but rewarding hike as you enjoy the wide variety of golf shots. It has everything from tight lines, up and down hill, to wide open placement par 4 holes, with water hazards. Beware the muddy waters of Show Low Creek - they will swallow your discs.. While it is a favorite course of locals - it is in need of maintenance and signage. The Udisc has recently been updated to properly map the current 18 hole configuration.

Fun shots but fairways are rough. Some concrete teepads, some rubber, some dirt and rocks - couple are not safe.

Awesome experience and great design to the course this far. Some type of stable tee is needed for the back holes and could be put together using either a wood frame or the prefabricated hard plastic that is being used a lot in the southeast. This course need not be doomed to poor tees, even with difficult tees this course is worth playing.
