@spencerhucks
If you’re trying to get some quick vacation golf this place is perfect. Probably avoid weekends, soccer players and a lot of people would make it unplayable.

@setherz
If someone were to ask me do you want to throw a round at Hovley I would simply say, no thanks. The problems start immediately on Hole 1. The basket was quite far for a Par 3. Factor in all the pedestrians and kids playing soccer and that makes that distance a little tough for accuracy. Then from there it really feels.....unnecessary. That's all. I get it. Not much disc golf around out here.
@rafaelretamar
Very good and challenging layout. This course is very dangerous however. I actually hit someone. She said it hurt but, was very nice about it. In my opinion this course shouldn’t be here. Too much soccer going on and other people. The course is right smack in the middle and in the way of everything going on. It’s too bad because it is a nice challenging course.

@brosophocles
Fun course in a park, Mild changes in elevation (surprisingly all downhill), and Good variation of left/right shots. Found the usage of trees, poles, goals, and OB to keep things interesting very fun. Would have loved to make an appearance during the Sunday League play to try any local routes/layouts.

@attica
Lay out is horrible. Hard to play when you have to throw over people
@startedw165
If one can play off hours the other park users and soccer nets are not in the way much

@mwandas
I don’t know what you’re thinking when you design a course like this. Maybe there’s enough space for a pitch and putt. And you could still play some Safari holes when the park is empty.

@mercthejerk
Square Peg meets Round Hole. Same shot for all 9 holes and that is when you are dodging soccer nets, pedestrians, people walking their dogs (with or without leashes). I can't think of a time of day that would be good to play without running into interference. I appreciate the local club putting in the course but there wasn't any other spot?

@nugitmaster
Had low expectations but ended up being a great course! 2 pad locations for each basket - back 9 plays reverse of front 9. Makes great use of trees and other obstacles. MUST PLAY MORNING OR EARLY AFTERNOON. Otherwise you’ll run into the park being full of soccer making it unplayable if you don’t want a lawsuit.

@colleendh
Around the soccer fields

@ribboy58
This is a great use of very little space around the outer edge of a soccer park. The shot variety is good enough to keep it interesting and if you play the smart 18, you play the holes in reverse on the back nine. Whoever has designed that into the layouts should be commended. It played very nicely and smooth.

@dizfiz
Fun park course! Did it with a headlamp at 530am! Epic! Sone homeless looking at me like I’m Crazy! Sorry you’re trying to sleep sir, but I gotta bang this bird! Working my way to Innova HQ. Then home to Auburn CA. This is prob the best little park course I have played. Way to squeeze it in!
@borser1
It’s a course next to a bunch of soccer fields. It’s decent but not a ton of variety and only playable when the park is not busy since most holes are parallel and next to soccer fields and over walking paths.

@farris34
This course gets a lot of complaints in the reviews but it doesn’t deserve it. Obviously u wanna avoid weekends and evenings cuz of soccer, but weekdays before schools get out ur gtg. Fun course especially for being the only free to play course in the desert.

@tribonk
I’ve upped the course from 3 to 4 stars. There have been some improvements made on Teepad signage over the past year and that made for a better round. Despite the lack of shot variation, Hovley is more than just a pitch and putt course.

@ronstertm
Nice little par 3 course.

@craigtheblack
The back nine is a reverse layout with tee signs painted or sticker numbered on or near the ground.

@emachol
Good for what it is!

@raidersid
Course grass in great condition but a little slippery in the morning. The course goes clockwise around the soccer fields so u better not throw your drives “Nose Up” or your disc may end up over the wall in the apartment parking lot on the west side of the course. Great place to play or practice if there isn’t any soccer going on.

@keith6pez
Reverse 9 has been marked a little better and Club Weekly scorecard/map should help navigate. Some tee pads are on the grass, so the markings will fade. Hole 11 tee is the corner of the goalie box, hole 13 is the light pole in the upper field, hole 16 is between light pole and fence, and hole 18 in the field near 1/17 basket.
