@joshoe
New owners have destroyed the name, history and course itself. Everything is overpriced and under kept, not to mention the strong possibility of nudity and the 18+ age requirement. I can’t take my son or wife here anymore. Hate to see such a historical disc golf course go to waste.
@jph1lly
UPDATE I’d avoid at all costs. This once destination course has turned to a “clothing optional” aka nude camp ground. Kids are no longer allowed even tho this is an “all inclusive” campground/ disc golf course. I wont elaborate anymore. just wanted to issue a warning RIP honeybear disc golf. New owners new prices. Now 7$ per round!! $4 just to walk… Most discs in the pro shop are being sold for $2-$8 over the manufacturer set msrp. Sad to see such drastic changes. Would not recommend anymore. Course isn’t taken care of with trash overflowing and unmowed fairways
@stevenl
New owners have gone in a different direction for the campground and course. Only 18+ are allowed on the property. No more family funny on the first course in Indiana.
@cosmicgardener
Can’t say enough good things about this course. Has 8 extra to add into a full 18, so it’s a long course potentially. Nothing crazy difficult but there’s some technical stuff for sure. Absolutely worth the fee to play. I got back late and missed the pro shop but when checking in, I got a glimpse and there’s an entire wall of discs, seems to be a cool pro shop! Will be back soon
@isamoor
New owners are still nice folks. Don't let the homophobic reviews mislead you. Nobody is actually running around naked on the course, but the owners have asked to keep it to only adults. The course is a great slice of history of disc golf, and still a blast to play anytime.
@jelkins06
Course has drastically gone down hill since new ownership pro shop is much smaller Trees down and overgrown grass by Teepads turned what used to be a great looking place to mediocre and wondering why your paying more for less. Sad
@bigched
Course was excellent. This is the oldest course in Indiana and was designed by Steady Ed, himself. Hole 1’s basket is still the original. From my experience, all the reviews regarding the nature of the campground are blown out of proportion. Never encountered anything mentioned in previous reviews. The owner was very nice and hospitable. There is a Proshop on site with a good selection of discs. Worth the $7 to help preserve this piece of disc golf history.
@wamz55
Been playing here for 10 years I went this May and didn't see anything different, if I wouldn't have read any of the bad comments I wouldn't have noticed a difference
@benji92
This course is amazing. I’ve seen a lot of hate on it and honestly I think it’s just people being salty. The owner is relatively new to the sport but he’s passionate about it which is awesome. I’ll definitely be back. 🤙🏽
@tfrahmy
The course is needing some attention (large trees down, broken tee pads). The campground and store has a different vibe than it used to (not family friendly), but the course is still fun.
@ballincolin
Forget all the haters if you would have never told us it’s a nude camp you’d never know. People need to learn to mind there own business. Your Wild’n if you say “nEvEr CoMe hERe AnYmOrE.” Disc golf for life!
@beans1980
It's been my favorite course 20 yrs +!
@jaclamme23
I've been here in 2024 twice and not once have I seen any so called nudity here. It feels exactly like it's been under the old owners so far. Please don't go along with a false narrative unless you have concrete facts to back up your salty opinions.
@mikethomas
This is a great fun course. First time is a little tricky with the hills on knowing exactly where you are throwing to. I can’t wait to come back. Do have a good pro shop.
@jwfox41
Really loved the woods holes. Tons of elevation changes and shot variety. All par 3s so many birdies to be had. Nestled in a quiet campground. Very large selection of discs in the shop. And the very first course installed in Indiana! How cool.
@tinkleflaps
19 thru 27 needs fairways better maintained and pads made
@b1w1m1
Short and easy course, pretty well maintained, and easy to follow. Shot selection is pretty repetitive, but they’re fairly technical, I would like to have at least one open hole to crush a drive. Solid course overall!
