About the course

There are no Tee Boxes or signage for the Par or footage of each basket. You make up your own as you go on this course. There are (9) baskets total (Red Baskets) The first (3) are in the open / field by the parking lot. The other (6) are in the woods along the walking trail as you walk through the woods. It is fairly open because of the walking trail. However if you throw out into the woods it is very thick and lots of brush and briar patches everywhere. Heavy clothing / Pants are definitely recommended.

Course has potential and it’s great to see something in my childhood stomping grounds. But at the moment a hard to rate it much higher. There weren’t any tee-pads that we could find. But some holes had what appeared to be 4x4 posts that were meant to mark tee pads in the future. But they disagreed with Udisc significantly and in some cases didn’t exist. So we had to just figure out what appeared to be right. The woods holes that follow the paths (old logging trails?) were very nice. But if you went off the 8ft wide path. You were likely in nasty briars that grew all throughout the woods there. The worst part was the course layout led to a couple places where basically you had to cross from one fairway/road to another. Without any obvious cleared/suggested path to do so. If the tee signs get standardized, some directional aids added from basket to next tee. Paths between holes cut open. And some amount of briar/brush cleared. Would be dramatically different. Looking forward to coming back in the summer perhaps and trying it out then.
