@andy9746
Worst course I’ve been to
@macro1t
Not friendly for first-timers, like me, but enough good moments on this course to enjoy the play.
@jspray19
The first 2 tee pads are nonexistent, have to use UDisc to find them. Hole 16-18 are missing. Otherwise course is very fun
@natinythegreat
Fun course. But not well maintained
@jdeal2009
Very rough, missing last 3 baskets. But enjoyed the hike in the woods.
@jasonmccoy
Maybe the worst course I have played in Ohio. Def not worth the rating it has. Tee pads were either non-existent or rickety lumber. Signage mostly non-existent.
@srothman
Poorly maintained, so bring your machete if you wanna get through the multiflora rose (Rosa multiflora, for you hocking plant bio dorks lol). This once-great, compact and technical course takes advantage of the topography of the hills behind the college. It requires a fun variety of shots, and hitting tight fairways, while controlling your shot height, will really be the deciding factors to your success. But, the lack of maintenance right now makes the course almost impossible to play without needing a serious tick-check and some tweezers to get the thorns out of your legs at the end of the day.
@jlocks2
Fum course. Very thick trees. Glad the holes were shorter
@bradyates1313
Played in early February. Must use Udisc to navigate, but easy with the app. Shorter course with good shot variety and lots of elevation. I could see this course being very difficult to play in the summer when all the leaves come out however. If you want to play this course, early spring is your best bet.
@drpsycho
Wear bug spray.
@mattdiamond
Bring rock climbing equipment! Not for the faint of heart! Two putt your way to the tee because if you overshoot its going off sheer cliffs. Just hiking it is a bit of a challenge lol.
@samuelcorey
Left a buzz with a reaper on it. I believe hole 14, will pay reward for a safe return will Venmo to ship it. Shot 13 under possible course record
@nsaving414
Very technical, needs mowed/weed eat, signage is hit or miss but there is a 17&18 now
@gmcbuckets18
Lost my white pearl on hole 15.. sad very sad... The course would be great if there was regular maintenance and standard cemented teeboxes.. the challenge is high and missed shots are not forgiving. If you over shoot any hole look forward to replacing that disk. In fact stop at your local shop and just purchase beater disc before playing this course. But I had fun. Drive from Cincinnati to check all the courses surrounding Hocking hills it was fun
@jcausby
It's a fun course, very different shot types, a great hike. Teepads are a bit rough but you're only throwing 150'? Just don't run up??? Grass is a bit high on a few holes. Shot variety is awesome. All 18 baskets were there when I played (9/2/24). A little hard to navigate the first playthrough but after a couple times this course really becomes fun. Weak people will rate this low.
@disjointed
I love hocking, technical wooden course with lots of elevation changes and drop-offs that can easily stack strokes. Last 3 holes are new, seemingly hastily added, not that great. Could be top notch course if hocking college would put any additional effort onto it.
@stalter706
Just finished an exciting practice round here. Course is technical and challenging. 17 & 18 are removed at this time. Will be back 👍👍
