About the course
Highland Park is a great course to check out in the Joliet area. It provides a good challenge while being fun and not overly difficult. It's a good mix of fairways, wooded tunnels, a couple shots going cliff to cliff, as well as wide open long drives. You will certainly not get bored here. The course is well maintained and marked great. New signs have been installed and a fresh layer of mulch was put down on 7-24-21.
I always enjoy hitting up Highland, it also splits the course great with Hole 9's basket right at the parking lot and Hole 10's tee in the parking lot. You can do front or back 9 which offers flexibility if you are short on time. Also, Hole 1 is across from the parking lot in the woods, it's not super obvious.
