@chaseswieter
Cool course. Back 9 is completely overgrown
@deadgold
Back 8 needs mowed not even worth venturing down there
@bolson111
A lot of work was done to get this course in. The maintenance done here is the worst I've ever seen on a course. We walked through grass above our knees on the fairways for a few holes. I wouldn't recommend playing here. I would only play here again if Mr Beast offered me $1 million
@themyriad05
It has its merits and its downfalls. This would be a great course for a MA3/MA4 tournament, so my noodle arm loved that aspect. It's a course you don't really want to play without a spotter, though.
@nathanminer
I appreciate all of the work that went into building this course. Unfortunately, between upkeep, course flow, and many questionable design choices, this course has left a lot to be desired.
@discerdog26
Definitely a very unique course. I love the layout and the shot variety, however the back half specifically holes 12 through 16 could use a lot of TLC. The Fairways need to be mowed and there's a lot of fallen trees in the way. But glad Eldora has this course.
@koalabaritone
Heaven and Hell is the perfect name. F10 were an absolute blast to play. Gorgeous, well manicured greenery, with lots of shot shapes... and then there was the B8. Swampy, overgrown, and treacherous. Hole 11 and 17's teeshots are hilariously gimmicky (throwing directly down/up a cliff side respectively). Amazing and well-execured concept, but I hated playing the B8. 😅
@ging3rvituz
Absolutely worth the 90 mile drive. Very fun layout with variety of natural obstacles and great scenery. Has to be a top 10 in Iowa
@booyah
Awesome course just off Hwy 20. Had a lucky ricochet and aced 11. Crazy day!
@junkmaster13
Hole 4,5 are out due to a new path. It is a little overgrown bring a spotter. A few trees down and basket 15 damaged due to falling branch.
@jakerandall
Not the grandest or most challenging golf course; the top 10 are a little cramped and the bottom 8 could easily be too overgrown to enjoy. But clearly a lot of work has been put in to make this a very cool little course. I found the course recently mowed and the weather was beautiful and I immediately played a second round after finishing the first. The only note I would make to whoever maintains the course is that some kind of grip needs to be added to the wooden tees down below.
@claymcclellan
Trees down on the way to 16. Around the wood teepads they didn't finish mowing. If the up keep was kept up this is a 4 star course. The wood plank teepads need covered with a rubber mat or turf.
@harry2013
Needs mowed and limbs picked up Hole 4 and 5 need to be replaced
@nickj4
Nice baskets and tee areas. Minus some of the wooden tees that can be a bit slick. Great spot for a small course like this. A lot of short holes, and a bit of shot variety early on, but it can get repetitive in the back half. For those without Udisc, it may be tough to find a few tees, I'd recommend adding tape or some signage in the direction of the next hole.
@austinhull
Beautiful course with nice tee boxes and baskets, a few interesting holes but not a ton of variety. Second half is very pretty. Beware number 11!
@shawn1978
Great course! I think the pars are forgiving on a few holes. 11 can be aced and it's a par 4. Course layout first time was a little confusing but can be figure out. Hole 9 has drop off through trees on the right, stay left! If they keep up with maintenance on lower holes it's a fun course. It's a cart friendly course on every hole except 17. I used mine 2 rounds and just carried it in first set of stairs to pad and pulled it on the left of the stairs to the basket.
@bwoodman0330
Excellent, technical course with fresh teepads and professional looking signage. The baskets are good quality dynamic discs brand and the greens play harder than the tees on most holes. However, the steep downhill can be quite treacherous if your lie is right of the fairway as it is nearly cliff grade. The lower section has raised deck pads which are incredibly cool, but could use some texturing or grip tape because the decking is pretty slick when wet. A great start to what could be a 5 star!
@papapeaches01
Overall, good course. I think once the back 8 is completed, it should be really good. This course will HAVE to be well maintained. I think it could have a proclivity to being overgrown if not kept an eye on. The elevation is pretty bonkers. Only real gripe is that this course could get DANGEROUSLY crowded when busy.
@njdykema
FANTASTIC!! Quality tees, signs, mulching, and baskets. Back 8 holes are pretty unique.
