About the course

This course is on the Bath/Hammondsport KOA. Holes 1-6 play in the lower part of the campground. These holes are mostly open and play near or over a large pond. Holes 7-18 play up the hill into the woods. These holes are a tightly wooded mix of up and downhill tee shots with unforgiving fairways and roughs. Hole 7’s tee pad can be tricky to find without the U-disc map but if you walk toward the pine trees after hole 6 you will hopefully find some navigational aides. Carts are doable and provide a nice place to sit after some climbs but can be a bit cumbersome in places. Bring plenty of water. Not very beginner friendly but the front nine would be doable for most novices.

We had a great time and look forward to playing it again. Sinage could be added from hole 1 to 2. Getting from hole 6 to 7 is very unclear and difficult with a fallen tree in the way. General Clean up on the wooded holes would be very helpful. Would love to participate in a work day. I unfortunately, missed the last one.

You guys should come play this course. Ok So I read the other comments too. Hole 7 is a SOB to find, The rough is un-forgiving, it can be crowded in the summertime, there are some doozey walks between holes. All of that is true. This course is fantastic nonetheless. This is not a disc golf course that was designed by a campground owner looking to bring in customers. This course is built by a disc golfer for disc golfers. My playing partner and I inquired about paying to play and we were told to “have fun”. We played in August on a Tuesday, had very little contact with other humans and didn’t feel hindered by campers equipment at all. I can see where playing on a weekend in the summer could be a little congested on holes 1, 5, 6, and 18. But overall most of the course plays far away from civilization. The pathway to 7 has a giant tree blocking the path and the signage to the path. hopefully it gets cleared soon. Other than that this course really just needs some traffic! Not beginner friendly. Bring water wear boots.
