@broitsjacoby
Very fun course, funny alternative measurements on each tee, and some very obscure references on signs down the fairway. Fairways are large chunked mulch as most new courses are, so just watch your footing and enjoy
@benbrockbank
Benches and tee pads, multiple baskets on every hole. Mostly defined fairways. This course has great potential to be both fun yet challenging for ams and technical for pros.
@geraldpope
This is a fantastic course! Stopped by for doubles, and had a blast. Really great people out there, and they clearly have put a lot of time and energy in to build this amazing course. The layout is really well designed and calls for a wide variety of shot shapes. The fairways are fair, (except for maybe hole 8!) but if you end up in the rough be prepared to pitch out. The only thing the course really needs is more foot traffic to help break it in!
@throwsiba
Solid course that had a ton of potential to become something great with the finalization of the long pads and a bit more breaking in. Really impressed with what they've built out here, will definitely be coming back.
@webbwebbwebb
Incredible destination course. If you're considering courses in this area, this is it, the premiere course. Incredible design on all counts. Technical, strategic placement shot golf. The fairways are mostly fair, still lots of work going into this new course, and the rough won't have you losing many discs. Pretty tight for beginners, but an excellent and enjoyable challenge for everyone else. Great teepads for what's installed on the shorter pad placements. I can't wait to return.
@canadayc
Certain holes still need completion. Very tight fairways.
@cblupo
Excellent, despite the raw feel to the fairway clearings. Demanding but attainable landing zones to hit without relying on luck. Was fun the first time playing even without knowing the exact lines (after playing the long positions) Will be putting in my rotation of "long technical woods" courses along with Buckhorn and Rock Ridge
@chaseg93
A little rough around the edges but has the bones to be a fun and challenging wooded course. Lots of short par 4s/5s where placement is more important than distance.
@matty1331
Great technical course! For only being open a few months, you can really tell they are putting in the work. Turf tee's throughout the course are still in progress but all turf is in place. Once it's been played a bit more and beat in, I can see this definitely being one of the top private courses in NC. Just needs a little time and tender loving care.
@jeffsc
Great new course with a lot of long technical holes. No need for OB, the rough is punishing enough. Once this has more traffic it will be a top notch course.
@andrewatwood77
Great course, it’s new but amazing.
@bradgagnon
This course is going to be phenomenal when it is fully broken in. A large variety of shot shapes and par 4s and 5s that will challenge how much control you really have. Can't wait until I can make it back and play it again.
@jwalther420
Very well designed course with a wide variety of shot shapes. Baskets are great quality, especially for a new private course. So many great par 4 and 5s really make this course into something special. Tees were fine but once more permanent tees go in, it will take this course to a 4.75 for me.
@andyhall01
Mike and crew have done a fantastic job clearing more brush since last year. This place will continue to get better and better but it’s fantastic as is. Very fun round of golf this morning as challenging as it is rewarding.
@bigbear
Course has been in for a year, rough is rough, but the course is amazing longs to longs will be championship level golf. Current layout is difficult but fair. Can't wait to see it evolve over the coming years!
@averagenebo
Great course. Really enjoyed it. Can be pretty tough. Alot of technical shots. Alot of improvement has been done. You can tell all the hard work they've put into this course, can't wait to see it grow. Nice to have another local course. Will be playing this one weekly.
@caseymason
Phenomenal design. Great signage. The course has so much potential to be an elite level venue. Can’t wait to see what they continue to do as the course gets beat in!
@clark1209
Very fun course that will be phenomenal once there are tees are complete and is beaten in more! Great shot shaping with pretty specific landing zones.
@rumpofsteelskin
A hidden gem near lake gaston
@throttled
Great new course. Needs to be beaten in a little but a true par 68 with a huge variety of shots throughout a beautiful tract.
