They really need a bridgeover the creek to have better access to holes 2 and 4. Once you throw over the creek on hole 2 you have a long walk around the creek to the bridge where the walking path is. After you play hole 3, the. You have to walk all the back around the creek near where you start hole 2. Throw over the creek again and you guessed it. Walk all the around the creek to cross the bridge on the walking path again. Once you finish hole 4 then you have to throw over the creek again for hole 5 but it's at least by that bridge for the walking trail. Once you cross that bridge for the 4th time then the layout gets easier to follow. You do have to throw either around the track or over the track, but that wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The only other time it's a bit confusing is on hole 17 you go backwards from the direction you came from then you go back in the same direction to finish hole 18. There was trash all around the course hole to hole and the grass needed up kept. Over all once we got away from the creek we had more fun.

I played the Harding University course for the first time today. I stepped into the course knowing little to nothing about the upkeep or the difficulty. The first 7 holes are around woods and have a large creek that plays OB. The back 11 are more wide open distance shots. I think that the course design is pretty great other than if you throw into any foliage around the creek you will probably lose a disc like me. Also the tee signs were very misleading specifically hole 14. Not to mention the distances were way wrong. The tees a quite a bit longer than the signs claim consistantly. The last critique I have is that you have to walk over a creek a couple times and it is unclear which way you can walk without getting wet except for the bug rock on hole 2. Other than these minor issues, I enjoyed my time and will be playing again soon!!
@jet21jcm
I’m guessing a student design this?? Shoved 18 holes into tiny space. Also way too close to walkers and other holes. Even had to throw over a track during a track meet. Check it off but probably not playing it again unless there aren’t as many people around.
@eskinner
There is also an old unkept small course close by. Make sure you’re on the correct course. We first went to the wrong one. Wasted 30 minutes trying to find holes that weren’t there.
@ryderwebb
Wet after rain, do not throw in creek after big rain. You will not get it back. Nice short ace run holes with some short wide open par 4’s.
@bjones22
Needs an updated course map and better on course markings. All concrete tee pads. Some fairways cross or are very close.
@nhermann23
Fun course. Areas around creek could use some clean up, and the walking paths can cause some pretty annoying waiting times for pedestrians walking in front of you.
@cheyneross
Needs clearer markings
@stb2389
Hard to follow with crossing pads and signs are not correct
@dennis3
Good tee pads, layout, and pretty well kept greens. Just too many walking paths crossing the fairways
@cujo93830
No pads, no maps. U must use udisc to figure out where to throw. It's dangerous. Very busy walking path even on a Sunday evening. Avoid avoid if driving through
@sbaird
Construction going on. The layout criss-cross each other so description needs to be better. Pars are fair. Went on a windy day- disc's can easily go into the main road if not careful. Overall feels like somebody just strung baskets around the practice fields.
@gavinpc
Overall not bad. I think the construction may have caused the course to be rearranged. Holes 10 to 15 seem to be missing
@jthejman
T pads are terrible baskets are terrible, layout is terrible. This is got to be one of the worst courses I’ve ever played! Sucks that Searcy has zero courses worth playing.
@jobar04
It’s good for a lower level course. The hole maps are messed up and out of order. So that’s not convenient for new players to the course.
@eezydiscgolf
The layout is completely messed up, had to keep manual score.
@spenser9210
Holes on app didn’t line up with tee pads and signs. It has hole 2 as hole 14 in the app
@chaseunderwood
Construction project. Major safety concerns on some holes. Not enough room for 18 holes yet they insist on squeezing in 18 instead of making it a good 9 holes.
