Mini idlewild. Genuinely a very good track. Recommend to anyone that plays in the GRR.

A very beautiful property with an absolute monstrosity of a course design for the long teepads. This was a very pretty walk through the woods, but I don't think it could have been designed more poorly. This course has so much potential, but is completely lacking the fun, the passion, and the love of disc golf in the layout. Who cares where your disc lands when you have a basic upshot to the basket for another par, there is no challenge or excitement. The flow is weird, the tee signs and directions are just flat out wrong and outdated, and it feels like this course was forgotten about. Someone please come along and give this course some love and a redesign because it's a complete mess and a bore of a play through.
@brandonredmond
Fantastic elevation. Some shots require spotter to fully commit to, makes a solo round a lot harder. Navigation it good, next tee signs are present and direct flow of the course well. Some elevated baskets are a bit extreme, allowing no safe approach position and will create a lot of back and forth or roll aways even if you aren't running the putt. Signs leave a lot to be desired. Udisc distance was a godsend in that regard. Hopefully that's on the list to be done next. Overall the course was fun. Allowed for a variety of shots, multiple angle shots as well as distance and finesse. Once correct tee signs are in place it can go up half a star. Adjust some of the elevated baskets (pyramid?) Get a bit more on top of the mowing, and eliminate some of the flukey approaches and you can easily get to 4.5 There are long baskets on some holes but with no distances or pars designated, on udisc or tee signs. They look promising as a few of them present par 4 play, even if they may be a little gimmicky on the approach shots. Overall though a solid play.

Fun course well maintained best in area

@carlgrande
Beautiful course, great lines, elevation change, well maintained and an abundance of benches. You can tell there's a person and / or club that put a lot of love into this course!
@tharrison32
Beautiful course that is both challenging and fair.
@donchoad
Great course, excellent maintenance, awesome variety of shots. (Cart friendliness 7/10). This is an absolute gem if a course 100% must play!
@ziggy36
So I drove down with a buddy of mine to play around. And there was doubles going on that night. Ended up meeting up with a lot of people from the community they had almost 30 people out playing disc golf in tournament. There was also a kids League going on at the same time which in my eyes is the coolest thing going around that day. Update: still an amazing course the upkeep is awesome here. Thanks all the volunteers that come out and keep this course looking update : 4/28/25 holy fuckin awesome thanks for this gem of west Michigan good. Much appreciated have a great day and amuyone can have fun with any skills level. Hammond hills is outstanding

@mzinck
Hole 4 on Longs to Longs has the short tee instead of long. Beautiful course!
@murph1348
Always looking better! Love this place
@ktknack
Possibly the best course in Michigan. Well thought out design. Intentional, sensible maintenance. Wonderful topography for interesting and challenging shots. This course has been a rising star for years and I am thrilled to see what they have done with it!
@andrewpastoor
One of the must play courses in the Grand Rapids area. The course has a great mix of shot shapes and will test some of the best disc golfers. On top of that, the volunteer group maintains this course at a professional level.
