@ohhshmit
Phenomenal course no matter what anybody says on here I grew up at Fort Scott been playing the holes. There’s a reason why it’s PDGA played with tournaments.
@joeluhlmeyer
Course has flaws but for being super fun it gets a 4. Plays as 2 distinct 9 hole tacks with the front being very beginner friendly and the back considerably more demanding with some real wide open hucks. Complaints are that some of the tees are slanted and uneven, namely 17, hole 12 has its pad four feet left of where it should be, and the baskets on the front need updating. If they were to put a second set of permanent baskets in the long positions this course would be an easy 4.5
@bowman300
The baskets are hard to find and even harder to see in the woods. The signs are almost nonexistent, but overall a nice fun course.
@crandycane
great, great small town course. good mix of shot distance, shape, and difficulty.
@mellenhater
Solid course for what it is. Needs a few hole maps replaced. Fun enough design with good variation.
@scuzzi
Well kept course. Wayfinding would be nearly impossible without UDisc. Lots of little things that could easily elevate this course to a 4.5/5. Hole #12 needs work as it is doesn’t really seem like a great golf hole
@gadios
Nice older course. Has better baskets on the back nine than the front. Beautiful property that’s well maintained. Signage could use some updating. Highly recommend
@hawksfan2030
Upkeep was mostly decent, all the shelter houses had parties and on hole 17 there was a massive water. Slide down the hill almost hit multiple kids after asking them multiple times to move or watch out.
@nunez3569
Big black snake near hole 6
@kbunder
UDisc has me starting on hole 11. Hole 12 I 1 wooded hole on a very cool property that is ridiculous. No fairway nothing but luck. I like the size of the tee pads but some are not level so not much point in having a tee pad. The baskets need updated… some of them are hard to locate when playing the course for the first time. It’s small things but this could be a 4.5 course easily.
@jbaca12
Challenging but fun course!
@schott66701
I'm lucky enough to live here. Although it is not the best course I have ever played, it never gets old playing here. If you find yourself heading this way please find a way to make it to this course!
@ericular
Nice course. Signage was a bit confusing, pins were a mix of long and short but UDisc was not accurate. Needs a smart layout
@whackafunk
Fun track to play . First 9 holes have old Mach 2 baskets . Very light chains . Easy to spit out
@jalenorse
Nice park course with suitable tee pads. Layout wasn't updated to current pin positions on all holes but finding them was easy enough. Tee signs did not match course layouts
@spockthecow
Nice big solid concrete teepads. Baskets are kind of old, but they are fine. Signs are simultaneously some of the most information dense I’ve ever seen, and lacking in some basic information. They look like they were made by the Army Corps of Engineers or a hunter. This course is around a lake, with forest on the outside of the course, so I would’ve preferred the course going more into the forest. It’s still a nice course, but I think it could be so much better.
@tylerzustiak
Fun course with lots of elevation and some deceptively difficult holes. Layouts can be a bit confusing with pin locations and udisc saying different things at times.
@luketheshrubber
This a great course with a good mix of long and short holes. There are trees but no tight woods holes. This park is beautiful and well maintained. Whoever manages the park regularly moves the baskets to keep it interesting. If you live in south east Kansas or are looking for a course to stop at in the area I highly recommend this one.
