About the course
The Green Lake DiscGolfPark was designed by 2009 Disc Golf World Champion, Avery Jenkins.
This is the 1st DiscGolfPark established in the state of Michigan and the 30th DiscGolfPark installed in the United States.
This is pro level, championship level course playing through the moderately thick Northern Michigan woods. It's mostly flat terrain with a slight elevation drop across Hole #5 aka "The Pit". A great variety of shot shapes and distances that will require a multitude of different throws to navigate these forested corridors.
And as you near the end of your round, just when you thought that you've escaped the course unscathed, prepare yourself for the 960 ft (293 meter) Par 5 Hole #18 "Green Lake Monster" to finish.
The short layout provides a pro level course with a great mix of Par 3 & 4's for a par 60 measuring 7,800 ft (2,378 meters). The long layout is a championship level course that will challenge even the best of players with eight par 4’s and two par 5's for an overall par 66 measuring 10,280 ft (3,134 meters).
The teepad of Hole #1 is located near the large Green Lake DiscGolfPark Course Map in the northeast corner of the parking lot. Please use the course map to get a basic idea of the layout and inside the bottom of each basket is an arrow that points to the tee pad for the next hole.
The highly visible Blue & Yellow DiscGolfPark baskets can be seen from a majority of the teepads, even on some of the longer holes.
