In the heart of Texas, where the sun beats down, Lies a disc golf course, the pride of the town. But beware, oh traveler, of the challenges it brings, For it's infested with creatures and other such things. From the land of the dwarves, comes this cautionary tale, Of a course so treacherous, it'll turn faces pale. Mosquitoes as big as dragons, buzzing in the air, Sucking blood with a fury, leaving no soul spared. Sticker burrs like daggers, piercing through your shoes, Each step a reminder of the battle you must choose. With every throw and every putt, they lay in wait, To snag your discs and seal your fate. Standing water, murky and deep, a swampy quagmire, Where lost discs rest, consumed by muck and mire. And the grass, oh the grass, untamed and wild, Concealing hazards that will leave you beguiled. But fear not, brave souls, for the challenge is grand, And victory tastes sweeter with trials at hand. With grit and determination, we'll conquer this course, For the dwarves of Texas are a resilient force. So raise your discs high, let your throws be true, Through the perils of the course, we'll see it through. For in the end, it's not just about the score, But the journey we take, and the tales we'll adore.

Not a bad design, seems to flow good. Main issue i had was hole 16, why have such a long 900 plus ft hole.. easily viulf have been broken into 2 or 3 holes instead.. Tee pads are a little rough and can catch/grip your shoes. Some tee signs are missing as well. Oh not bathrooms, just a couple of porta johns

@coltentrevino
For the rural area, this is a decent course. There are some holes that force you to make the shot. There is no shade on most holes incase you need the sunscreen. Most signs are faded and hard to see. Watch for the fire ants on tee pads and near baskets. If you haven’t played it, I give it a 6/10 overall.

What a wonderful surprise to find this course. Something for every level of player. Trees used perfectly to make challenging but fair holes. Some awesome long range, bomber holes and the bridge shot is awesome! Kudos to the city of Gonzales and to those who maintain this wonderful resource.

@barrett81
Awesome park. Thoroughly enjoyed playing the course and beautiful oak trees. Anytime I swing back through this area I will definitely be stopping to throw
@sigleme
Love this course. Great vibe in the middle of a small town. Very pretty. Design is solid, easy to score but enough challenge to make you work. Windy.

@jpropps
Very well designed course playing through the Greenbelt.

On a dewy, hot and muggy Sunday morning - there’s little ground play which makes you have to execute more on in air shot with elevation change. Sure there’s stickers but it’s bearable. Fun course.

@ashtonn1
Recently mowed, only issue is a large branch down on one of the holes, but the entire course is currently playable.
@bgreentx
Mowed but marshy and loads of mosquitoes. Definitely wear pants and spray. We cut it to only 9 holes due to bites.

@aaronkuhnert
Until this course is mowed it really shouldn’t be played. It would better serve as the global center for mosquito research. At one point I thought of covering my body in fire ants with the hope that they would claim me as their own and fight the exodus like plague of satanic spawn.

@bcoulter58
Nice course. Well maintained. Easy to follow. The only hole i had trouble finding was 10, it was a longish walk to the tee UDisc got me there!

@tomsdiscgolf
Great layout, porta John at the bridge. Teepads are too deeply grooved. Swirling wind makes for great challenge.

@claytonmitte
Love playing this course! Take time to stop if you’re passing through

@aggie2016
Tall grass and standing water at 11, 16, &17

@bluelivesmatter
Great course when grass is cut. Spurs outrageous in the high grass. Play shade to shade when it hot.
