One of my favourite courses I’ve ever played. All 27 holes are different and fun. Most short, some long, super pretty. Only downside is it was insanely busy but like, what else are you supposed to do on Pender??
@jpros97
Fantastic course, very unique. Not many big drives(if any, depending on your arm). Great midrange and putter course if you can throw 200-300 ft regularly. Extremely technical with plenty of ground play and randomness to make it way more difficult than the distances make you think. In my mind, it’s a must stop whenever on the island. Definitely agree that playing with a local for your first round is recommended, unless you want to face deep in UDisc between each hole.
@bradybunch
Amazing course, full 27 is an absolute treat, great variety of shot shapes and the par 4’s offer a great challenge. You can play this course with experienced players or first timers and any which way have a blast.
@gbradley
A great bucket list course! Quirky in good ways and challenging to all skill levels
@likelytravis
Worth playing for the experience alone, 3 sets of 9 holes each radically different than one another. A unique course with plenty of replay value.
@lauried
Awesome short course, what a gem! Designers did an amazing job carving out this course with the available space. Short Teepads force you to throw standstill, great place to practice this. With constant elevation changes there is a lot of shot variety required. With so many rocks to scuff up your discs, bring your older discs. We loved the open air clubhouse. The lovely coloured gum trees, big pine trees and the moss covered boulders make this a magical place!
@jordandardis
Really beautiful course. Must play if you’re visiting Pender Island. It looks like the end of Fellowship of the Ring where Boromir dies (RIP). Unforgettable course. Very short but technical, basically a hike through the trees and mossy boulders. Like I said, an absolute must play if you are a discer and visit the island. 6/5 stars
@jackfrisbee
Worth the travel. Not super long shots so only a few disc's required. Would chuck on, again
@aixiel
Great technical course! Has lots of tight lines and great changes in terrain. Could use a bit more signage about where the next teepad is.
@larrymorse
Beautiful course! You have to shape every shot with purpose! Leave the distance drivers at home. Very fun playing on the tone holes for 9 of the 27.
@careerchip
Amazing course

I have to leave a review, as after reading the bio and reviews on UDisc this is a course that has been on the top of my list for a few years. We finally got there this fall after a three hour drive and 2 hr ferry to specifically play this course. It has previously been rated as the second/third best course in Canada (depending on the year) and also touted as one of the “premier disc golf courses in North America”. As a result it was a must visit. Unfortunately it is did not live up to the hype. It is a course with a long and storied history having been there since 1980, unfortunately it has not kept up with the times and in no way can it remotely be regarded as one on the best in the Country let alone the Continent. Here are a few reasons why- firstly it has 9 holes of tonals. Any course worth its salt has to have all baskets. That is just a basic requirement. Secondly although the tee areas are natural and in keeping with the environment, again they are not up to modern standards. They are not specially constructed and as a result are uneven, and too small. Once again not good enough for a “top” course. Thirdly the course is way to short and way too easy. And there is only one tee pad. For a course to be highly rated it needs to provide a challenge either through length or tightness or a bit of both. All the holes are way too short for it to be a high level course. I am an average player and on my first ever round I threw -12! I threw putter off the tee for most holes. Again unfortunately that is just not a good enough modern standard. Lastly there is little to no signage. That is not a huge problem as the holes are very close to each other, but again it could be so much better. There are a lot of positives. There is some great amenities including a water fountain a practice area and a “club house” as well as lots of garbage bins. There is really nice shot variety. The course is beautiful and the forrest is stunning. And all the holes are fun with some really memorable signature holes. Each 9 also has a surprisingly different feel through a slightly different ecosystem, which makes the course really interesting and enjoyable. If I was to give some advice it would be to remove the tonals and redesign the course over the same layout but making it 18 holes instead of 27. Increasing the length and difficulty and putting in proper purpose built tee pads as well as having long and short tees. With the beautiful canvas that you have to work with in the forrest this could truly be a world class destination once again. But if that is what you are expecting and you make the trip specifically you may be disappointed.
@brettwells
Great course for everyone. Definitely a must play!
@squanderer87
Amazing little course! Super creative shots to keep you having fun each hole.
@spindrift
Beautiful wooded course with plenty of fun elevation changes and tight fairways. Well worth making the three hour ferry tour to get there. Also, the new tee pads are an awesome improvement 🤙
@cleangreens
Fantastic!
@robbrownca
Awesome course supported by great community. Humbling mid range shots....
@jaygee133
Most holes are very short but it does have 3 challenging holes out of the 27. Their are no tee pads, the tee areas are sometimes extremely small and the front 9 doesn't even have basket! It's a very casual course for beginners. Be warned it will chew up your discs cause the fairways are mostly large rocks and boulders!
