@meceb1218
A little confusing with all the old teepads. Fun course tho
@resultedbeast99
Good course just doesn’t quite feel as good as the old course.
@zachstec
Are the designers even disc golfers
@gunnargarcia
Carrol Marty used to be a great course. This is the course I learned to play on and the shorts were fun and longs had lines that you couldn’t find at any other course. Unfortunately there have been two redesigns that have made it worse and worse. Many players have suggestions to the city of Ames and they were ignored to put this pitch and putt course in. Just play stable run
@booyah
Hey! Tall grass without noxious weeds! Bravo City of Ames!!
@johnriverbend
Great layout with new lengthier tee boxes installed. Winter baskets only but it’s February. Would like to try in full foliage! Gotta be a gem
@fooflier
CM is and will always be a shorter course, and the holes across the creek will be missed; however, after playing the layout from both the short and long tees this week the course is playable again.
@senorrussell
The hills and views are amazing
@slntdsc
This course is a travesty. Beautiful hole design and terrain ruined by lack of signage and maintenance. Funny joke deliberately having hole lengths wrong too. I drove two hours to play and walked off after nine.
@tomsdiscgolf
Relaxing beginner- intermediate course. Several trees for long tees need trimming.
@charlesmiller
Needs new tee signs and fairways are a little overgrown in the wooded areas.
@marciniak1
My home course and one I play frequently. Fun hill shots, a few woods shots and a couple bombers on the back nine. An Ames staple for sure.
@shawn1978
NEW 2024 LAYOUT! Lines off the tee pads are not open, there's overhanging trees in the way of the line to the basket. Fairways through the tree areas are not kept up there's just pathways through tall weeds. The course is now littered with tee pads and most of them are old ones. You can tell a lot of work was put in to the changes but they weren't for the better unfortunately.
@jacobthompson8
Was a 5 star, I’m placing this as a .5 until they return it to the old layout. New layout is one of the worst courses I’ve ever seen.
@mittman
Seems to be under construction again, signs missing some baskets and tees moved from layout as of 4.20.25
@morganjudge
That update ruined it. Hopefully they make this right.
@mariomora12284
Hole 1 fairway
@glivingston
Worn down by overuse, but a fun beginner course.
@dmoore45
Poor signage, multiple issues with crossing fairways, very crowded, not particularly challenging, and in need of maintenance on several areas. But for all that, an enjoyable course with several unique holes and a pleasant environment.
@mehgolferia
Old layout was more enjoyable. Still fun
