Circling two baseball fields is this easy course. It is very well maintained though it lacks signage and tee pads. The problem many will have with this course is that every shot is best for a lefty backhand or a right hand forehand. Great course for newbies as it is easy and wide open looks but for those experienced there are better in Cincinnati.
@fillguy82
A variety of par 3 par 4 that travel around an open park area counterclockwise meaning that the right side of the fairway is overgrown, trees Creeks and backyards
@irbium1
Typical park-style course. No tee-padsor signage. Open field throws. It's good for some practice shots or exercise.
@bonenfantt
Great course for a quick round with great angle shots.
@tsumizzle
Always a nice time at Gardner, great mixture of short and long holes. Nice for a quick round too if you’re short on time
@eleveneighteen
Baskets were dirty. Whole park smelled like sewage. Tee areas were pretty bad, with a few so rutted that you can't really do anything but a standing still shot or play off to the side. Basket for 3 seemed to be gone, it seems like maybe you now play to a dirty water main marker near where the basket should be. The elevated tee shot on 4 is over a walking path to a basket you can't see, so if there is anyone by the basket you might be throwing at them without being aware. There is also a park bench about 15' from the basket, pretty much right in a very likely landing spot. You can at least see the bench from the tee. Multiple other shots also take place very near the path and other benches, which could be an issue if the park is even mildly busy. There was a building that looked like it may have had bathrooms but I didn't go in them. Didn't see any drinking fountains but didn't check extensively. 1.5 stars might be generous. I would avoid unless you have no transportation to other courses or are the most hardcore of course collectors.
@tlvguy87
Throwing near walking trails is never a good idea. Was an ok quick round on a not busy day but wouldn’t come here often unless I lived next door.
@eileen115
I don’t mind this course. It’s a nice, short course offering decent variety for beginners and experienced players. There is a basket for hole 3 now!
@mikebrwn92
Not a bad short little course. Signage could be better and tee boxes could use some upkeep/redone.
@pyitegroove
I appreciate that the park fit in a small course and made it work. Adds to the recreation choices here. Stop by if you want to kill 30 minutes for a short round. Basket 3 is missing and hole 7 MIGHT be 40-50 feet...shortest hole I've ever seen!
@corn123
It smells and missing hole 3 but otherwise great
@emerine18
Hole three is missing basket.
@sjhutch
Tees are obviously pretty rough, but I knew that going in. Baskets are nice, except for 3, which was a basketball at the top of hill. Little kid started sniping my disc when I went in the woods for another lol but other than him and some friends the park was empty at 7 on a Saturday. Hole 8 is laughably short. All-around great, quick 9. Go get some birdies!
@borstadam
Cute little park course! Interesting shot angles with long and short tees.
@bakedbaker
Get a temporary basket for 3. We used basket 4 because hole 3 is a par 4 then used the tee off spot for 4 then shoot at 4 again. Both ways make sense because I was able to easily get hole in 4 shots.
@snazzypajamas
Great course two long holes and a bunch of approach shots for a 9 hole.. no tee pads tho. Hole 2 tee pad is baddd. New teepads and signs would make this 3.5 stars for sure.
@jlucky33
Fun little course with good elevation. Needs tee pads. Plays over walking path a lot. Follow the path from hole 2 to 3. 6 doesn’t have a sign.
