A great course! Alot of the reviews were almost convincing that it wasn't going to be a great experience,  but overall I had a really good time. Shot variety is there, holes 5-10 have hardly any shot lines, which was a little overwhelming, but other than all other holes, very playable, very technical, very cool. Would come back! P.s. loved the random stump statues :D

So beautiful! Well kept, lots of fun things to catch your attention. NOT for the faint of heart, or people like myself to whom long holes are the bane of their existence. But still fun!

I would not recommend this course for beginners. The wooded section is very tight and requires solid distance in combination with consistent accuracy. The layouts seem very inconsistent. Attempted “Fall” layout and had to adjust around 60% of the holes to match the correct basket. I might have been using the wrong layout, but the layout names aren’t descriptive. Good solid concrete tee pads , however several pads are not level.

Great course. Well maintained and several pin locations for each basket making it play differently each time they are moved. Artwork is interesting and additions pop up regularly. Thick areas are being cleared each year and not a lot of poison ivy. My biggest complaint is that not all of the tee boxes are level. Some tilt up, some down, and others sideways.

Great course. A little difficult for beginners. Nice mostly wooded shots that take a lot of accuracy!

Top tier course. Did fall layout. I was walking around just looking at all the long holes and how much variety is available in the different layouts. This course has a solid amount of dead center fairway trees or extremely tight gaps but enjoyed the hole round. Fall layout has loads of shots that you'll want to unload your hole bag on.

Good layout and design. Very good upkeep (groundskeeper was going hole to hole while i was there). Very challenging fairways lots of woods and pretty good tee pads. Extra points for actually having clean restrooms open.

This is a wooded course with a few holes in the open with elevation throughout the course with a small creek that comes into play on a few holes. Each hole has multiple pin positions and cement tee pads. The tee pads overall are okay besides a few areas on the course with it sloping up or downward, or extremely slick. The design of the course has you throw a variety of shots but seems to lack in score separation on some holes that play right in between a 3 or a 4. Most of the holes have a defined fairway but a couple of holes it’s very much poke and hope you get lucky as there really isn’t a true defined line to the basket. There are a couple holes that behind the basket is a ravine with a lot of thrones and weeds where there is a ladder to help make it down there. There are a few holes that have steep hill that make it very hard to navigate when it rains or becomes very muddy especially some fairways. The addition of stairs and planting new grass or laying down mulch would be great to combat these problem areas when the conditions aren’t the greatest.

You better be a sharp shooter. Most holes are heavily wooded with super tight lines. New signs are nice, have great marker for basket locations. Course work being done. Nothing like cutting lines or making fairways. Naw they are taking some of the holes like 1 that had somewhat of a line and burying them back in the woods. This is one of the closest courses to me and I never play it because it is so unenjoyable. I've played a lot of courses and this is the worst one by far. One good thing there is it never busy, other than league night. Sh!t ass course. Would be a ok course with a chainsaw.

This course is turning into one of the best around eastern Iowa. Don’t pay attention to the whiny reviews. It’s a tough wooded course, but all the work that has been done by the local club and all the new pin locations are worth it.

Course has A LOT of potential. Fun, mostly tight wooded course with some good elevation change as well. Good mix of touch and power shots as well as left/right/straight. The issues I found are that a few of the fairways are a bit too crowded and lacking true lines. Namely 5 and 7 come to mind. The green of 10 is also a bit questionable. A lot of good shots will get punished on unlucky ground play, and if you're solo there's no way of knowing where your shot goes if it crests the hill. The most glaring issue is the pads. A lot of them are very sloped. A shame that all the work was put in but they didn't go the extra mile to get the pads level. Overall really fun. With new pads and an extra set of permanent baskets this is an easy 4 or 4.5.

This course will make you a better player! Don't pay attention to the bad reviews. The lines are there and very rewarding when you hit them. Local guys do an amazing job with this course!

The is definitely not for new players. Would not recommend to anyone that’s hasn’t been playing for 2 years. The new design is good on some holes others make no sense
