Excellent but challenging course, well kept but could use some signage. Would not recommend for beginners due to longer holes. Overall one of the better courses I've played on based on shot variety and design.
@pointsi
I enjoyed this course more than some 5-star courses. It has a casual but technical appeal and mixes open city park with wooded areas using unique and varied lines. The grass is lush and mowed perfectly. Park is large and encompasses each side of the river for 9 holes, playing almost like two separate courses. Only major downside (at least in summer) is that the mosquitoes were more relentless than ANY of the 144 other courses I’ve played—maybe because I was majorly sweaty and it was hot, but sheesh. I speed-shot the last 9 😱
@billthecrusher
Very fun course. Multiple tees and fun shots. A lot of variety.
@stuartsch
Tee signs have no information. Udisc information is not accurate to actual distances.
@jonnyt123
I was a big fan of the back half and some of the water carry holes. Iron man pars on the blues made is quite a challenge, but it wasn’t insanely hard for most holes. A lot of the earlier holes in the open are uncreative, especially the 700 footers. If I come back some day, I’ll probably play the reds instead.
@jgolliet
Great course. Could use some signage, but UDisc works great
@iowaguy77
Meh..
@pdunn7
Very fun course. Good variety of technical wooded shots and open field shots. Signs are mostly faded and some unreadable. Little tricky to find your way around without u disc map. Overall very fun and well maintained.
@dweeks00
Good course, played after flooding, so it was a little soggy yet, overall not bad.
@travelingatom
Great course, and if I’m back in the area I’ll hit it up again.
@chatter
Bathrooms are seasonal, and only located by hole 5. Would be amazing if there were Porta potties (even just one) located across the bridge somewhere.
@iconoclastes
Pars for long tees are a little wack.. 2-700+ ft holes as par 3? No tee signs, no navigation without UDisc, distances are off on UDisc (hole 17 says 317 but I used a bushnell and got 397) , no garbages, and a couple of boring holes. That said, it was a fun course to throw with some difficult and picturesque shots, especially for northern Iowa.
@ohbeardly
Front half is open and very score-able, but once you cross the bridge it gets much more technical. Very picturesque in the fall, well maintained as well.
@keckles
Definitely needs some repairs with tee signs. And it would be nice if there were tee pads for all the tees instead of just some. I could not figure out what was happening with hole 6 so I just skipped to 7. I would probably say 5 stars if those minor issues were fixed. Great time!
@harleja29
Great course with a lot of fun, different shot shapes with holes that can be played in several different ways. A must play in this area. Half a star off just for mild signage issues both for the next tee and for hole maps/information.
@gmonster
This course is amazing. I love the long drives along with the shorter technical holes. Many different tees for different ability levels. I don’t recommend in the summer though. All the mosquitoes from the state of Iowa are located here.
