People who taste this course poorly, play poorly. The tee pads, signage, fairways, scenery, design, etc. are all to tier. The only reason to not rate this course at least a 4 is because you struggle at difficult golf. Just because a course is hard, does not mean that it is a bad course. Realize you are playing a championship level course, not your local parks and rec course.
@lancek
Beautiful course tucked in the woods with a great stream beside it. Lots of fun shots.
@titties
STOP LOOKING AND GO PLAY HERE! Top tier next level stuff right here. Put this on the list of best courses ever. Super scenic, super well kept, immaculate. Longs are long and difficult. Shorts are not short but high level amateur. Need long accurate drives and equally accurate upshots
@brockmudie
This course is truly incredible
@colonelfox2
Fantastic woods course with some fun elevation. Rough is rough without being unfair. Easy to recover errant shots. Long straight throwers rewarded. Babbling brook nearby adds to the great aura here.

Great course. However, if average scores are +17, highly recommend adjusting par to better reflect the course difficulties. Would make for more enjoyable rounds and rating for the everyday player.
@discgolfcraig
Stunning views. Up there with Blackjack as NC’s most scenic. Back 9 is much simpler and flatter.
@hyzerkyte
What a course on the river. It is definitely not an easy birdie course. It takes placement over distance, on the longs. This place is special. Congratulations on building a gem and thank you!!!!!
@dereke888
Beautiful, both the natural and the man-made part. Too many FUs to RHFH for my liking along the creek.
@bicky1
Course is outstanding. Have not played the shorts yet but got a good idea whilst getting my butt whooped by the longs. One of the hardest courses I’ve ever played. Tee pads, rock stairs, and other accoutrements were top-notch. The design used all the space perfectly. I would love to see a few more trees taken out on some of the holes. Some of the fairways on the long layout were almost nonexistent. Signs are great. Paths and next tee signs made sense and helped with the flow.
@lymbic
Some tough lines and longer holes even on the short layout. It’s a battle if you’re not hitting your lines, but man is it an absolutely beautiful course. Definitely worth a play through if you’re in the area.
@scottrhs
Course is beautiful and well maintained. Shorts are great to play. Longs are not fun, with fairways that prevent run ups and sometimes just a lack of fairway or route to basket.
@justinh8675
One of the most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. Technical and long with some super unique holes. Best course in NC hands down.
@jeremiahordiway
Awesome course one of the best in the state. Worth the drive from anywhere.
@ethanwalle1994
Absolutely stunningly beautiful course. Top notch design, pads, and difficulty.
@zzfoxy
Tight lines, tough rough, long drives, and a little water. The infrastructure is great, and it’s a beautiful track, but be ready to hit some trees.
@blackclouds
This is one of the best courses in the state and nation! Bring your woods game and make sure you get a good tee shot or you'll be throwing bogey every hole, even on shorts.
@thresha
The course is very difficult, but the beauty and the serenity makes this a 5 star destination.
