I tripped over a root to start my round, I guess you could say I started off on the wrong foot. Hit a lot of trees, went in the creek twice. I played horribly. But it is a decent course. Having a disc retriever is helpful. All you really need is a straight putter, understable mid range and overstable mid range to play this course. It is hard to find the next tee.

What I will remember the most about this round was the park itself. Ultimately I'm a hippie out here for the nature and this one doesn't disappoint. A stream runs through the whole thing full of turtles and herons. There are palmettos and other plantlife here that we just don't have "up North" and really struck me as beautiful. The course makes great use of that stream as well. I think at least 6 of the holes here play across it, beside it or some other variation that uses the water to max effect. None of it is ever unfair either. Yes I lost a disc, but I never felt like any water carry was impossible. The course is mostly 300 foot and shorter and doesn't have all that much in the way of shot shaping. There isn't that much vegetation and obstacles for them to have worked with, so many holes are a basket behind a tree or a little stand of trees, but there are few holes here that demand any kind of tight accuracy or real length. I have played almost every course within an hour of DeFuniak Springs and this is likely the best of them in my opinion.

@skymtb
First time here, fun shortish course. Quite a few left hand friendly holes.

@krunktoten
Loved the course. Layout was a little confusing but after once or twice it won't be an issue. Udisc map helped me navigate. Shorter holes but I don't mind that.

@davidjeastman
Nice course with a good layout. Signage could be a little better but overall worth playing.

@joshschloe
Very solid course for a casual round. Was very forehand friendly in the layout I played.

@chrisrbaker
Gorgeous park! Played both tees and they are super fun!

@isuaggie
Nice park course.....but VERY busy with pedestrians when I played. Tight layout takes you over and aroumd the sidewalk many times. Short and birdies to be had if you overcome the fear of hitting someone.

@pneugebauer
Beautiful park setting. A few path issues, but really fun!

@cp2016
Great little course. Some waiting for path walkers, but not bad.

@strebs
Fun short course and a city park with lots of pine needles on the ground, a good amount of shade. Mostly short and technical

@joshuajgibbons
The park is very busy with the walking path and makes playing take time and patience. The long and short tees are both fairly beginner friendly and easy.

@sfaast
Shorter course. Mostly open with some woods. Not a lot of shot variety. Park is decently well-kept, not great. Short and long tee pads, but not a ton of challenge either way.

@drkevns
Course is fantastic. Some beautiful holes, and fun to play in all the positions. You have to time drives to walkers on the paths occasionally, but it wasn’t unbearable when I played. Some of the local players didn’t seem very friendly unfortunately.

@nordy1226
Fun and tricky for a beginner! The guy that changes the layouts does it pretty well and often enough to keep it challenging even after a year of playing! Keep it up, Heavy 👍🏻🇺🇸👍🏻

@j47phelps
Good park style course for a vacation round! Hindered by length but overall fun ace runs!

@kevinr12345
A little bit of everything. Great course. Watch for walkers.
@ncatron406
Good course. Not super long, but shots are very fun and plenty of technical shots to take. Well taken care of and pretty well maintained. Watch for snakes and water hazards.

@thebaldinfidel
Fun track. Busy park with other players and people enjoying the park.

@dwcash
Nice beginner to intermediate course. Beautiful park.
