@sportjester
This course blew my mind. Thought it would be gimmicky but it is a real test. Great use of the terrain. Three years in a row visiting VT and we finally made it to this course. We’re staying at Smuggs and everybody wants to come back and play here.
@levinator25
Heavily wooded course making use of the... Elevation! You understand why they picked the name as early as hole 2 (which was a killer). Most fairways have approachable lines, some harder to see than others. I would say hole 15 was really the only fairway where I really had to use my imagination. I also accidentally threw to hole 16s basket on this hole. Kinda wished the baskets were numbered to avoid this kinda 1st round confusion. If you like technical golf in thick woods this course is for you! The putter course was a lot of fun also, was just a little tricky finding all the pin locations. I eventually gave up after never finding position 15.
@jasonoats
This course is truly unique and has some great challenging and rewarding holes. If you're up for a real hike and some disc at the same time, this place is perfect and lots of fun!
@jcjdingdong
So much fun! Love Love Love this course. Can’t wait to come back.
@pseudodudo
extremely epic course - totally wild and super well done // it seems like it’s a polarizing place based on the reviews and i get why some people might not dig it but if you like some wacky extreme legit disc golf - this place will get you fired up // there’s also a super fun mini-putt course
@jaketheczar
A fun course to play if you’re also looking for a hike. Lots of ace runs with punishing steep ground. Some really fun par fours too.
@joshwilliford
Go in expecting adventure golf and you won't be disappointed. Bring your hiking shoes and an extra pair of eyes and you should be alright. Absolutely amazing course with lots of unique shots and variety.
@bjmurphy
The elevation is real. Bring a friend to help find discs and/or keep away fears of horror movie plot lines. Overall fun but would probably not come back.
@rustyscupper
Not a “golfy” disc golf experience, and I love that. Lots of hiking, great rugged terrain and funky, hard shots. Will challenge your skills for sure. One of the best VT courses, very underrated
@gkulaga
Insane amount of ascent/descent, kind of a carnival course tbh
@johnaru
Extremely dangerous, no tee pads/bad footing for drives and approaches.
@randyn1080
Way too dangerous for the casual player, do not take a full bag unless you want to die. My friend almost took a 100foot fall following the 'trail' from 9 to 10. No signage for directions. Poor baskets. It's beautiful, take a canteen and hike it. Don't play disc golf here.
@shackedm
Extreme DG! Love it for the excercise too. . Definitely no Carts
@mattszallen
Great hike, lot of tough fairways and shot shaping required with a mix of short and ace-able holes. There were a few too many blind shots and dangerous basket/tee positions. Could be very sketchy if you are not used to mountain golf or if it's heavy raining
@pilchmon
Super fun home style course with natural tee pads and chainstar light baskets
@rkilker
This course idea was brilliant and the first 9 were excellent. They got a bit carried away with blind tee shots in the back 9 and the roll always took a bit of fun away from the experience. A unique course and I’m glad I played it. Unlike anything I played before. Genuinely dangerous hiking though especially for this old man. One slip and you could seriously injure yourself. Tee pads were mostly nonexistent, the baskets were fair, and the bugs were horrendous.
@bearcubster
Tee pads would make this a premier 5-star course.
@matthayesvt
Beautiful
