most of the new short pin positions are fine, the long pin positions on holes like 2,3,7, 9 and 15 don’t feel like natural lines and have awkward course flow. The best pin layout in my opinion is the OG dogwood layout.

One of my favorite course in the area. Fair and fun for an intermediate player.

Please STOP using the long pins on 2,3,7, and 15. They are not natural lines and make the course not fun to play

Would be nice if there were some garbage receptacles at points along the course.

Nothing special but it’s a good course.

Nice park and fun course. Please front-fill the tee pads so I don’t drop off the pad when I follow through. Not sure what all the fuss is about the alternate pin locations is. I’d recommend different angles to the alternate pins and not have so much of a difference so that the par doesn’t change when the basket moves.

It's get 4 stars if this was the first time I played the course but I have to say the new pins are objectively worse. The shots are fine enough but the new pins add thousands of extra steps to a course that already struggles with flow.

Longs on 2-3-7 are dangerous, and it slows crowded course play since you have to double back on all of them.

It's a very tough course that's annoyingly backhand friendly. Very tight wooded lines and some far holes that are very unforgivingly for missed lines. I think it's the hardest course in the area, and that's from the shorts. Birdies are tough to get for sure. If you can't hit tight wooded lines consistently this is not for you. Overall hard course and very wooded but if you're pretty experienced a challenging, fun course.

Raleigh areas most challenging course. Only thing missing is concrete tee pads. Not a fan of the Jaypo Eco Tee Pads.

Haven’t played here for a while and several of the baskets were in different locations. Still an excellent & challenging course!

Used to be my second favorite course in the Raleigh area, but with the new pin positions it's fallen out of the top 5 for sure. I don't mind changes in general and alternate layouts are fun, but these new pins just don't feel well thought out.

Narrow and lots of trees, but the new redesign adds more tee boxes and they've cleaned up a lot of the brush and the course is much better for it. Bring your scramble game, and in the summer when the briars are in force you may want pants ... a few wet spots after rains but not too bad. Can be a little crowded with pedestrians on weekends and holidays....

The construction barrier on 18 is encroaching into the fairway quite a bit.

Nice addition of the short tees. Wooden posts just needs hooks to hold bags on. Muddy but manageable with the right shoes.
