@hyperscott
Tough scramble, but fun. Beautiful.
@cstreit2216
Fun course. Grasses are high and full of stickers. Cows are grazing and lots of droppings in the course. Basket 6 is missing.
@rembert
Wonderful scenery, beautiful course, could use some signage and I had some difficulty with the teepads as they are rather short and often require you to step over/into something. Overall, would recommend
@we4youngs
Course has great potential. If tee-pads and signs were there it would several stars better on my review. Basket 6 missing. Play the new layout with alternate hole to get 18.
@markberglund
Lots of tall grass and weeds with marshland all over. Course was fun prior to storms; weather took out a lot of it recently. 1-6 is playable, 7 is gone to the river, 8 is playable, river is wide and not advisable to traverse to get to hole 9-14, 15 is playable, 16 is not playable in marshland, 17 is rough/wet, 18 is playable.
@ethansmithkim
Gorgeous! Fun mix of open and some trees
@hedgesd
I wanted to enjoy this course, but I quit after 5 holes. Due to all the sharp, painful needlegrass, long pants are both necessary and woefully insufficient. If the fairway were better cut, it might be more fun, but this stuff grows so quickly. Also be careful on the slopes near baskets as I almost wiped out slipping near hole #1.
@hiimliamg
(As a disclaimer, I only played the first four holes). It’s very beautiful course with amazing views. The major issue is the extremely weedy and disc eating rough. The fairway is little bit wider than a two-track and off of that are itchy weeds about knee high almost everywhere. If the weeds were cut and maintained better it would be a 4 or 5 star course because it is very beautiful and somewhat creative in terms of course design. If you do decide to play, wear pants and keep track of your discs
@vanamsl
This has been one of my favorite courses to play. Such beautiful views and ranges in elevation. Some big arm shots and some shorter downhill holes. Mostly backhand dominant. The wildflowers amd long grass made it tricky to find discs at times but overall was such a beautiful and tranquil round.
@durkmcgurk
Great course. NOT CART FRIENDLY AT ALL. I don’t know what jackwagon marked this a cart friendly course. The course is awesome to play, challenging holes and awesome scenery....I’m just sore AF from lugging my cart around that damn HUGE layout. Tee pad 11 is literally on top of a huge hill....as is Tee pad 12.
@brucewiedemann
Beautiful. Nice up and down. NOTE, the coylurse crosses a creek and when we went it was flooded so we didn’t get to play holes 8– 14.
@markemiller
Only played 6 holes but amazing scenery. Bring your old boots if it's rained.
@harrisonhobbs
Tee pads are torn up or not existent on some holes, so you will have to choose a safe area to throw for certain holes. Basket #6 is missing. A combination of the rain and cows has beaten down the long grass, so it was pretty playable this morning, we were able to find all our shots. The creek could be crossed by walking about 100’ past the normal crossing area, so we were able to access holes 8-14. Super super fun course, so long as you can stand some hiking, a few weeds, and some backtracking to navigate holes and tee pads.
@snydaj
Course is absolutely amazing, and the groundskeeper was really nice when we met him. Only complaint is that the wheat looking stuff that is all over the course really gets in your shoes and will poke through and hurt! It will also cut up your hands like fiberglass does if you get it on your hands. Not a bad idea to wear boots out here. Also lost a purple disc and have absolutely no idea where it is so that was weird and never happened before. If someone finds that thunderbird, give me a call! :)
@stevenlindberg
Very well designed course. Clever use of terrain and elevation to make for some interesting and fun holes. No signage and some tees are not in the location given by UDisc maps, but still navigable.
@jauden10
Good design, avoid playing in the heat of the day...
@clintlax
great variety of shots. Tall grass was quite tough to Walk thru
@bobbypumps
A lot of cow pies and short rubber tee pads. Other than that great course. Beautiful course
@thiskaidiscsbro
Still just way too many hip high weeds and foxtails. Awesome course but someone needs to do some maintenance
@discodave69
Drove 2.5 hours from Templeton to play this course yesterday (prepping for the St Patrick’s tourney). We were not disappointed. What a cool course! So beautiful and peaceful. Nice mix of technical and bombers. Fair warning to the uninitiated: There are lots of cowpies, but mostly dried, just watch your step. There are signs warning of rattlesnakes also. My friend saw a small snake, don’t know what kind though. Either way, just always watch where you walk. Look at the scenery when you stop.
