@osbudd
Nice challenging course. Far too many blind tee shots for my liking. Seemed like I could only see the basket from the tee area a handful of times. Tough when I was solo for my first round. Needed to walk up to see the line that was needed on several tee shots. Couple beautiful holes on the back, but mostly through grass and fescue. Tough for beginners and those without big arms. Need to be accurate with your drives (once you know where you’re going!)
@threadthanaddle
Great mix of open, long technical, and wooded technical shots. Island hole, quality pads, and some great par 4’s with possibly one of the most picturesque holes on Vancouver Island.
@mpl2004
Eric has put in so much work. Its looking great.
@bogeyjoey
One of the best courses I have played. Great use of elevation, natural features, trees. The hole designs were great, and never did I feel like I was repeating a hole. A MUST on Vancouver Island!
@shaynepfeifer
Challenging, long course with some gnarly par 4 doglegs. Bring a spotter, hazard of losing discs on most holes. Can tell how much work has been put in (and continues to be) to make this place even better!
@hapalmer
Tee signs don't show features to scale. Distances are very misleading. Great course otherwise, beautiful scenery and well maintained. No facilities and parking is not ideal.
@csmedisc
4.8/5 Most underrated course I've played. I think this course is now significantly better than it was potentially - and that's why the average overall rating isn't good. Ratings need to be updated! Deserves way higher. Has every type of hole - beautiful lines with great design. Championship level. Great signage, amazing tees, awesome chainstar pro baskets, funny/ nice benches, and there was even circle 1 lines when we played there. Only small downside is no potty out there and no garbage can that I could see
@geoffreygmac
All the course upgrades that are happening, is making this the best course in Nanaimo. Highly recommend.
@colinfilliter
Serious work has gone into this in the last 3 years. Awesome course for advanced - pro players
@sawyer89
Best course on the island. MPO friendly, big open shots, mixed with forested gaps, elevations and beautiful scenery. Amazing tee pads and baskets.
@wh1skeyjack
So much work has gone into this place now. It very hard, but fair and enjoyable. Do. Not play with out a spotter!
@gbarber
Best difficult course on the island right now. Not a beginner course fyi.
@cleangreens
Must be willing to enter Mt DOOM to play! Fantastic job on the course. Islands best by far
