@jayoak03
The course was redesigned from a fun little nine hole course to a cheesy approach/put course. The course is fine if you are 8, don't have a disc catcher in your backyard, or if you are in a putt league. Other than that, it's not really worth the time.
@prettylady1
The City of Concord ruined a great 9 hole course. Great for small kids and a beer putt league, I guess. They could have made a really fun course. This is really disappointing.
@poopstache
Where to being….well, they dismantled what was a great 9-hole local course/staple and turned it into an 18-hole course for literal infants. It looks like the course layout was inspired by a 5th grade gym class. The only reason this gets 2.5 stars is because I think my wife will like this one. Old Dorton, we love and miss you.
@accrump
So I understand that this is supposed to be a beginner course and I've played it before and after the update. Honestly skip the first 9 holes. When you have a hole 18ft you know you didn't have room. The City refused to let the clubs help and it shows. Even for a beginner course this is bad.
@discgolfcraig
Redesign took away my guilty pleasure junk food spot and put in a soft, unappealing vegan joint. Tee pad on #2 is almost as long as the fairway.
@defiantj
This was my go to practice course. Redesign ruined it. The back 9 aren't horrible but they're boring and worse than what we had before the redesign. Feels like there's no reason to go anymore. :(
@phmothergoose
Whoever designed this course should be fired. It had so much potential when it was in operation and now it's pathetic. Like they could have kept a couple holes from the old 9 (2,5) and they could have made the new 9 a little longer. Great tee pads and amazing baskets. Just seems like a waste of money to check a box.
@alexjohns
Do not come here. Hole 2 is marked as 59 ft on udisc, it's 18. Always money here, many bugs. And just a very boring disc golf experience overall.
@ddgarry
Good for what it is.
@magicsoap
Caution. A murder has just recently taken place on this course. RIP original 9. The new course, putt/approach or not, is the biggest fail I have ever seen.
@alex1643016
This park used to gave a really nice 9 hole course that wasn’t too hard but semi challenging. A lot of fun to play. They took that all out and put in a new course that’s terrible in my opinion. The front 9 is nothing but like 20-50 ft holes. I won’t ever play the front 9 again. Wouldn’t even play it if I lived next to the park. The back 9 is ok still pretty short holes but ur going through trees and there are a few technical shots to avoid trees. But nothing special. I personally won’t be going out of my way to place this course again. Maybe if I’m in the area I’ll play the back 9. It’s just disappointing to see the course I learned to play disc golf on and loved to play all the time is now nothing but putting holes pretty much.
@kwiksilver180
It’s pathetic. Waste of 18 new discatchers. It’s more challenging to try to not get Ace here
@vistadiscgolf
It’s not as bad as it seems when you think about it as two separate 9 hole courses. The par 2 side where the old course was makes a little more sense because there’s so much foot traffic actually throwing longer shots was a nightmare before. The “longer” side avoids foot traffic almost entirely. That said it’s in a nice park, but not worth traveling far to play. But if you’re close or going to be at the park just bring a couple putters and enjoy.
@ap143567
If you go here expecting a full 18 hole course, you'll not find that BUT if you want a more creative way to practice very short putts and approaches then it's not bad. I took very inexperienced friends and had a good time. The back 9 designed for approach shots are still more like a par 2 in my opinion.
@noahjelly123
Decent putting course but too spaced. Walk 300 ft to an 18 ft hole then 200 ft to the next hole
@baer259
Great quick course for families and kids. Or … if you want a 18 ft ace on the books.
@joelbailey
I love the redesign, I like how it is more like a putt-putt course than a golf course. 10/10 would play again
