About the course
I recently built 2 separate putting courses on a wooded hillside near my house. They play from a central basket to 10 tree stumps with 5 gallon buckets for targets. 10 more holes are created by throwing back into the basket. Each course has a ring of 10 holes within circle 1 that are par 1. Then throw to 5 more circle 2 buckets and back for 10 par 2 holes. This creates a 20 hole par 30 mini-course that can be played in 10 minutes. For longer throws you can use a net to warm up before playing 4 par 3 holes that are part of a course established in 1981.
These courses are on private property and can only be played with the owner, Diamond Don or his permission. I am retired so I play every day. Call or text 740 603 0929, preferably the day before you are able to play.
History
My first golf course on our private property was built in 1981. I have continued to revise, maintain and play on this course for 44 years. However most of my 19 hole Dogwood course is on land shared with 5 other families. They don't want that course open to the public or listed with U-disc at this time. They will allow me to play the course with others who I have established a friendship with.
Recently (Sept. 2025) I created 2 new mini-courses as a way to meet other disc golfers who want to practice their putting skills. They can also join me on 2 holes of the Dogwood course that are all on my personal property. These 2 holes are played forward and backward to create 4 holes, 1 is played to a basket and 3 are played to taped tree trunks.
