The property is very nice and the baskets are decent. But everything else about this course is terrible. I literally don’t have enough room to list all the bad/dangerous problems with it. Someone REALLY needs to come redesign this course. It’s such a waste of a good piece of land.

Udisc map isn't fully accurate, hole 9 basket is in different location. Best played with a spotter, all holes play around thoroughfares. Some great hole designs though

Too easy to take out other users with blind corners. Also unkempt river margins lose a few discs. Enjoyable buy takes a team to help spot and play a round

Terrible course design with blind shots on a very busy reserve. Not uncommon to find cars parked all over the fairways and next to baskets, simply an accident waiting to happen. Tee pads are terrible, the rough is very dense and full of wasps. Genuinely not sure what I can say that is positive about this course.

Great to have a course in Hanmer. The course has not been designed with enough care for safety of other park users, in my opinion. The area the course is in is quite busy with bikers, walkers, and picnickers. Many shots play down paths or are into blind areas which are popular with picnickers. Spotter required!

We played Hanmer course today. Its was really good. And I'm baffled why its got a rating of 3.3? Really well thought course design. Mostly short distanced holes with one hole of 137m. Got nice shot shapes. Lovely parkland. Mown lawns. Easy to find next teepadd from each basket. Have a spotter on any that cross over pathways.

Signage and orientation of course was average. But once you knew where you were going, the course offered some very different shot shapes.

Tee pad two has moved compared to UDisc, but it’s right next basket 1. When playing hole 3, don’t be fooled by basket four. Basket three is as it shows on UDisc down the narrow gap to the left. There is a basket for 9 that is different that what is shown on UDisc (top of the hill near the entrance to the park), but I would not use this one. There is literally no opening through the trees to get to it. Use basket one for nine is my recommendation. Overall, it’s a nice enough course and enjoyable on a beautiful day. But as others have said, lots of pedestrian traffic you have to be aware of.

One of the worst designed courses I've seen so far. Half the holes aren't playable due to sitelines, overgrowth and basket placement. One basket is next to the toilets! How can you throw that safely? It is a nice little park though

Course design is unsafe, holes 1, 3 & 7 are blind throughs into walkways, and hole 9 is throwing through a picnic and parking area.

Some nice holes. It’s a busy park and spotters are definitely needed especially hole 3.

Has potential but maybe start again. Hard to follow design even with udisc, some paths are unworkable. Not what I thought it would be

Caution needed as some holes cross busy paths and ate arrive blind corners. Very muddy at the moment.
