Flat park course that have some variations and two different layouts. The main challenge players that could throw 100 meters and you also need to be able to shape your shots.
@bosovini
Nothing special, I expected more after the 440β par 3 start but the course was super wet and saturated. A lot of the same shot over and over, if you can throw 350β you can shoot double digits easy. Short and open par 3s, and short par 4s was kinda boring

Course is on the back 9 of a former city ball golf course, but it doesn't play like a typical golf course with a disc golf course thrown on it. Layout features a mix of open and woods holes, an interesting juxtaposition as the wooded holes are interspersed throughout the course. Open holes make good use of trees and other features to keep them interesting, while the woods holes feature tight gaps and force you to hit your line and shape your shot. The layout tests both sides of your game, and in quick succession. Tee pads are in for all holes and are good overall. Of note is that 2 holes do share a pad- doesn't seem to cause any problems but folks do get confused by it. Signage is in and very good, save for 2-3 holes for which the signs need to be remade. The layout mostly is easy to follow, and the Next Tee signs (black and white at ground level) at some key points help. And, this is a surprisingly pretty course, especially in fall as the leaves get color. There are deer, ducks, and other wildlife here regularly, something you wouldn't expect in the middle of a city. No-mow zones make this more than just an open space, and literally thousands of new native trees have taken root in the no-mow areas. Even as it is, it doesn't feel like an old golf course, but another couple years this course will likely feel like a forest. Should add some more elements to some holes (hole 9 comes to mind) as well. The entire city of Detroit basically sits atop a clay bowl that challenges drainage across the city, and after heavy rain unfortunately this course is no exception. In the spring, bring your boots. The course is entirely volunteer maintained. Volunteers cut the holes through the woods, put up the signs, poured the tee pads, all of it, and it's obvious they've put in a lot of work. This course is genuinely fun, definitely worth checking out!

Now that the new holes are broken in, Palmer is back up to the top of my love for courses. <3
@gnarlymage
Once the last finishing touches are completed out here itβs going to be amazing. They ran into trouble after the initial install and had to change plans afterwords so please be patient with the kind volunteers.
@spoely
Enjoyed the course. Some signage is needed for sure.
@purdueputtr
Solid, long and short tees are great, takes good shots to birdie, but can usually save par. Also love the new short course to warm up /ace race. Thanks for all the work that has gone into this course!
@geigerhyzer
Great course, visited from out of town and even with the snow it played very well.
@shagbarkh
The new wooded holes are a disappointment, but Iβm sure that will get figured out. Still love playing the course.
@juiceturd
Very fun course through an awesome park
@completelycory
Almost Aced 17 in front of the creator of Discraft. Great course
@sdietri2
Cement will not be cured until after 8/16 please do not walk on tee pads
@joem72083
Well maintained, beginner friendly while still fun for advanced players.
@maltman
Great open course, fun mix of distances. Will be sweet when concrete tees are in. Very swampy though and layout is tricky to follow first play through
