What a gem of a course! Didn’t expect a course like this out here. Great layouts, variety of shots, massive mature trees, and concrete tee pads. If you’re driving by this is a must stop to play. Need Udisc for wayfinding, especially the back 9.
@coachclark
This is a great park-style course with 9 baskets and 18 tees. Playing the back 9 back on itself is ingenious as it makes it feel like completely different holes, rather than the usual slightly different angle-9 you get from 9 basket 18 holes courses. The downside is that it must be absolute chaos if it’s busy here with disc flying every which way. The challenge level is pretty low, with no really tough lines or major punishments for missed shots. Great for newer players! This course is definitely worth the stop, though I don’t think it’s a top 5 in the province.
@dandupreez
Alright course! Played the 18 hole layout and it never bodes well for a course when you have crisscrossing tees and not to mention there are a few holes where you throw directly at another tee. Some shots were slightly jankey, no real line unless you’re throwing spike hyzer or sky anny. Decent holes for sure but a good amount of holes that feel a bit unfair and taking a few trees out would help! 9 hole track might be better but the 18 was just fine.
@bseabrook7
Course was great, lots of tree fluff flying around, and the T-pads could use some signage showing the distance and basket
@tdamen
Very nice prairie course. Not technical. Anyone can play.
@jayemoh62
Beautiful park, well designed shots, wish there were more signs to find each hole/ baskets, but the excellent cement tee pads help!
@kyriel
Lots of unique, challenging holes with creative lines.
@beeballca
You definitely need UDisc there is a post with hole numbers and pad but that is it. Super well designed all the baskets are placed well with the trees and making it difficult. I don’t like throwing over other holes or pads but I don’t think they are busy enough for it to matter. Bathrooms and campground right onsite
@kurtis
This course was designed for me!!! All the holes have great shot shapes!!! Some right, some left, some straight, high/low ceilings, roller opertunities, ace runs etc., etc. It's got it all. Beginner friendly, but more intermediate skill level for sure. The use of the trees is superb! Glad this was my first course in Saskatchewan.
@brayden10
Wow this course is definitely a hidden gem! Only 9 baskets but with how it’s laid out, it feels like a full 18 basket course. Amazing job to whoever designed this course! A must play if you’re driving by Maidstone!
@colinreid
Course is great, fun variety of shots in a good looking park. Having the campground right on site is pretty great too.
@chetley
Excellent stop along the highway. Would definitely play again when driving by.
@coja99
Awesome course, definitely a gem in the area.
@wolffman78
A very fun course the trees make it challenging, forcing you to go around or over to get to the basket. Lots of the holes share the same basket and T pads overlap, and are in the way of other fairways. If the course is busy, this can become a nightmare.
@briggsy
All I can say is ….. what a 💎!!!! 9 Baskets, 18 Cement Tee Pads…. Best 9 Basket Track By FAR!!!! Check it out…. LETS GOOOOOO!!!!!
@wiltermuthj
Regularly maintained, high quality baskets, concrete teepads. I nice balance of easy, medium, and very challenging shots. If you stop here I highly recommend doing all 18 holes with the back nine included. Feels like you are playing a different course. A small town gem.
@wilgrainger
Very fun, technical little course! Most holes are treed in or hidden, the shortest holes are among the trickiest with challenging, but not unfair basket placement. Edit: A year later and having played many other courses across the prairies... this course is still a gem. It’s one of the best 9 hole courses in Alta/Sask.
@n3x3n50
If you are on your way from Edmonton to Sask or the opposite. Do yourself a favour and stop here. Great course and hidden gem.
@thunderbutt
If you’re driving by, do yourself a favour and stop and play this course. It won’t take long and you’ll love this challenging, well designed and well kept course. A very nice surprise!
@ironwolf
Great little course. Beautiful sights all around. Some tricky shots around trees. Unfortunately I came out in a windy day but I think this would be a great course to par. Love the reverse concept with the 10th tee box being beside a beautiful old barn shooting back to the 9th basket.
