@discgolfphoenix
Course is in progress but the OG 18 hole layout is great! This course will get a lot of use. Especially with the location and all the amenities. RI needs more courses like this!
@rohodey
I got 4 holes in and didn't understand the reviews that said they should have consulted a course designer until they just kept getting worse... this is a park course that got funded by taxes, sponsors, and now donations and it is one of the most uninviting park courses I've seen in my 111 courses played. Aren't park courses supposed to invite the people who pay taxes? This course was designed to challenge pros and discourage new players. A 2 hour game across nearly 3 miles for a "short" course doesn't invite youth or engage the local community.
@messy13
For a “short” course you will walk further than most “very long” courses. And while there isn’t much calculated elevation change half of the holes are throwing across a gulley so you’ll also be doing more up and down hiking than the course description implies. The majority of the baskets are elevated or placed on the side of a hill, and at least half the holes lacked any real lines and were more “rip it and pray” than actual technical throws. Even if it weren’t over an hour from home for me I don’t think I’d play this course again.
@rlemire72
Wished they had collaborated with others that have more experience with course design.
@gonzo3
First timer and was very impressed. We all agreed that we are coming back
@hollyhotsauce
New course- first 6 are great the rest could use some work
@timchagnon
Excellent course. Only two bad holes. Need some clearing and would be awesome. Good challenge with out needing 250plus power.
@jtquack
Kind of weird to pay for a public facility course when you’re not asked to pay for the tennis, basketball courts, etc. Shot variety is decent. Some holes are a little gimmicky. Fairways need to be cleaned up a bit. Some holes, dangerously, throw over walking paths and/or very close to other tee areas. It has potential to be a 4-4.5 rated course if the aforementioned issues are addressed and some holes relocated/expanded. Finally- only bathrooms on site (located near holes 1, 14, 17, 18) were locked.
@dcapaccioli12
Course was not fun. Too many long walks to get to filler holes. The holes themselves were nothing special and repetitive aside from 1 and 16. A redesign of the entire property is the only way I’d come back.
@aurkarm
Fun course that still needs some beating in, but it has the pieces to be a real gem. Wooded course, with some mandos and tight gaps to hit. A few ace run holes too. Hole 10 isn't quite there yet, and 14 felt like it needed one or two more trees out yet. Pretty, probably really great in the fall. Tee pads are turf style and pretty decent. Signage is good. There are some long walks between holes. Overall a great little track I'd definitely play more if I lived near here.
@mugy57
Would be a 5 star without the Mile hikes between holes but I understand you have to make due with what your given
@rickyelmer247
dogleg dogleg dogleg, feels like youre scrambling right off the tee, makes for an interesting course tho
@splitt
Short pads and a little close to neighborhoods but not too shabby. Needs a little fairway trimming on some holes.
@laxdude23
Course is rough, but has a lot of potential. Good place for a casual round.
@olilme
Needs signs ,super icy, needs to be trimmed up hard to see the end of course
@kenallard
Fun course, lots of potential. A couple holes need redesign or tress cut. Lots of potential here. Be prepared for lots of walking between holes and no signage in the middle or end of the long walks. Watch UDisc but I had spotty gps.
@dlavs19
Mixed feelings about this place. It has some very solid holes, some holes that look like they’re not completed yet, some holes are simply poorly designed. Walking between certain holes is very long and you have to double-back a little. However, the baskets are great and tee pads are solid turf. Possible bias due to getting 2 aces my first time out here!
@webspaz
Great course. Some hole modification for 2025. Thanks to everyone who got this on place
