Front 9 was pretty fun to play. Nice technical course. Back 9 is really new, this year I believe. Once the signage gets in, it will really improve the overall quality of the course. Really enjoyed the variety of shots from tight lines to let er rip. Keep up the great work on it.
@no1173
Nice course. A few fairways need mowing and some walkways need cleaned up. It would be nice to get tee signs on the last few holes.
@a15sgriggs
This is a beautiful park without a lot of elevation change. There are good tees, baskets, and signs and even some restrooms!
@clmills24
A great course that takes advantage of the elevation and features they have. Multiple pond shots and overall a really enjoyable course to play. Worth the stop.
@ramageryan
Good front, bad back. Has potential to be a good course. Donβt play after a rainfall.
@cntbg23
Suuuuuper fun. Back nine ainβt even done and itβs a blast! Instant fave. That par 5 had me like π¬ππ‘π’.
@taylors4smt
Great course! Lots of fun shots and the upkeep is really good!!
@sambronson
Great course. Really surprised at how awesome this place is. Its a must play in western PA.
@greghaag2
Wowβ¦ Seriously thatβs all I have to say theyβve done such an incredible job out here. What a fun trackβ¦ if anyone is even moderately skeptical, donβt be. Itβs incredible, make the drive
@nathanalleman
A strong 4, prob 4.3. Back 9 is a work in progress but not far off, mostly missing pads. I echo others who say 17 needs major work to be viable. Basically forcing players to throw down a road for the lack of fairway is unsafe. That said, when pads this will be the most enjoyable course in the area. Well done!!
@tearfulrhino
Threw a green axiom defy into the pond on 17, so if anyone goes diving for it would love to have it back. #8143166565. Other than that love the concrete pads!
@spangb
Flat Course that has a lot of fun ace runs. Needs a MA1/MPO set of tees. But the nice flow and well groomed fairways/greens keeps your interest. Worth the drive.
@og19011
This course was fairly boring if weβre being honest, but they added a nice back 9 which is a significant improvement and now has concrete tees. That second nine adds both more wooded holes and some distance to the course. That original nine is fairly wide open and gives you a lot of grip and rip opps. The back 9 is definitely a Dropcho design with a lot of tight lines in the woods and holes that make you think about where to place shots. The 2nd Hole is still one of the best on the course which is a fun little pond shot. The park is quiet and full of birds although it's definitely busier now than in the past.Β I am not a fan of that 17th Hole. It's a gigantic Par 5 with a pond. From the White tees, the pond makes most average golfers decide to lay up or significantly risk disc loss. For novices on red, it's not an easy clear and then they added a mando to force you to throw over water.
@hoozyer
The new back nine is a lot of fun. A couple of trees on 17 need to be removed so that there's just a bit more of a line. Very enjoyable variety of shots.
@towniejim
Beautiful job out here. Good course management. Love the new back nine. Definitely will need concrete tee pads.
@timber14
Great work has been done to the course lately! Thank you all, for working so hard

An honest updated reviewβ¦ this course has always been fun to play, but putting fun aside, we all know that this course could use a major upkeep overhaul. This review is for anyone who is thinking about driving a long distance to play. I know what a 4.2 course should look like because I have played most of the best on the entire East Coast. Whereas, I was always proud that this course had the rating it did, it definitely does not deserve a 4.2 in its current state. A couple years ago a 4.0 was about right where I feel it should have been. Nowadays, it definitely does not deserve the rating it currently holds. The front 9 is still very playable with some minor issues. Those issues include: 1 downed trees that need removed 2 tall grass that needs cut 3 missing tee signs that need replaced Donβt get wrongβ¦ the back 9 is playable, but the back 9 has a whole different set of problems. These problems include: 1 uneven, and not backfilled tee pads 2 leftover cement chunks and debris from pouring the tee pads unsafely near pads 3 tall grass and weeds 4 unfinished pin positions 5 no tee signs Just use more caution when teeing off from the back 9 tee pads. I really hope an upkeep overhaul happens in the future. Since the last time I played here, it has definitely went more downhill. I hope the course gets a rebirth. I will update my review if and when that happens and will keep my review updated as needed.
