This course is rough, especially if playing the course for the first time. There’s only 1 basket visible from the tee and the map on UDisc doesn’t accurately show the fairway so I was guessing on most my tee shots. The course wants you to throw long blind shots on tight fairways with rough that will swallow your disc at times. Don’t throw anything here you don’t want to lose. Also whoever signed those tee pads… damn

Cut back all the rough, way too long. Spent more time looking for discs, that were good throws, then actually playing. Unless you throw perfectly you will be looking for discs and come out scraped up. Almost every tee shot is blind and fairways all too tight. Need a lot of work to actually make people want to come out and play.

The good: Beautiful setting. Quiet and rural. Quiet 500m walk to hole 1 along a maintenance road. The bad: Appreciate the attempt at tee pads (x2 prefab square concrete pavers), but they leave no run up space and are not flush to grade. Tee pads are good for standstill shots only. Most pin positions blind from the tee and inaccessible to anything but an immaculate tee shot. The ugly: Do not recommend playing solo. Exacting tunnel shots are required - but punishing (punishing!!!) rough for any off line shots makes for too much scrambling. Spotters are strongly recommended.

Fun course, Group of 4 was a good experience. Played through the course twice. The Good - Excellent course flow — the layout is intuitive, and it’s clear where to go next after each hole. - Right-handed friendly design - most holes favour right-handed players, which can be great for consistency and practice. - Well-maintained tee decks — ideal for standing throws, with gravel that allows for a few steps without slipping. - Clean and tidy — with two garbage cans placed along the course for trash and empties. - Enjoyable experience overall — a thoughtfully laid out course that plays smoothly and makes good use of space. To Work On - More variety for left-handed throws — currently, only one hole caters to left-handed or forehand shots. A bit more balance would improve play for all throw styles. - Tee deck size — slightly extending the tee pads would allow players to comfortably perform a full step-throw or multi step throws. - Basket maps — while navigation is clear, signage or maps at each hole would help with first-throw accuracy. - Room to grow — expanding to 18 holes in the future would make this an even more attractive and complete course for casual and competitive players alike.
