Many are the "tight technical" courses that are simply miserable slogs through impossible lines in impossible conditions. Many of these receive enthusiastic "five stars" from those who mistake brutal difficulty for excellent design. This is NOT one of those, I'm pleased to report. Hole designs are varied in distance, line and difficulty, and in almost all cases have a clear and fair place to throw. The course has pads, signs, and baskets all in great shape. The locals have put a ton of work into chipping and gravel. There is still a decent crop of poison ivy to avoid, so take note if that is an issue for you. Also, playing with a spotter is a necessity given all the blind throws, which is not ideal. Nevertheless, I was pleasantly surprised by this course and will definitely be back!

Little gem! Very scenic and pretty! Longs look tough, shorts were fun. Rough can be real rough so stay on the fairways 😅

Worth playing. A lot of blind shots where basket isn’t visible. Relatively easy to find your disc if you get off the fairway. No mosquitoes. Patches of gnats.

One of the best wooded courses I’ve been to in years.

Difficult course playing blind first time through. Plays extremely random on some holes, where it seems like memorizing the course, rather than playing by instincts, is your best strategy. Wooded, tight, elevation throughout, fantastic signage and tee areas, multiple pin placements and tees…. And a barrage of gunshots popping off nearby. I don’t find it to be as great as some other reviews mention, simply because it could use some thinning out for a more pure disc golf experience. Challenging is good, but some holes seem like forehand is a requirement, so if you don’t have that you are really putting your shaping to the test. Hope to play it again sometime and see if the vibes remain random or can be lifted up with memorization.

Very technical course with a lot of wooded shots. The shorts were challenging enough, can't imagine what the longs would be. Some of the holes were touch confusing, but for the most part, good signage and tee pads. Definitely worth a return visit.

Great design and well maintained. My 378th course and I would rate it top 10%. Thanks to the designers and course maintenance crew.

Fantastic maintenance and teeing areas. Also lots of fun lines that use the area’s elevation and ample woods to make its shorter holes challenging and technical. There is clearly a lot of love and work put into this course regularly. The main downside of the course for me was the frequency of blind pin positions. Playing my first round here required trekking up the fairway in hopes of seeing where I was aiming on numerous holes under 300 feet. This also created a higher risk of lost discs as my group’s shots would often turn a blind corner and disappear from sight without us being able to get a good idea of where they ended up — not ideal on a wooded course with thick rough and something that added many minutes to the round that were frustrating instead of fun. Overall: Great course for experienced players with excellent upkeep and a variety of layouts that could keep you busy for a long time. The experience would be greatly enhanced by cutting a few sight lines to baskets, especially on shorter par 3s.

Definitely one of the top courses in the state. Some great technical holes and a couple to really burn your drive on. Some holes that are birdie-able for anyone if you just hit your gap and others that keep you trying to figure out new ways to play it every time. Kept up really nicely with plenty of stairs and ropes to help you get through the challenging course.

Lousy design in the woods, holes 2-5,7,9-11 need a new design badly. The rest of course is solid. The longs has some unreasonable shots that don’t fit in with the rest of the course like 18 Long. The rest of the holes are solid, with 6L, 6S, 13L, 14S, and 18S standing out as excellent holes.

Awesome course. Almost every hole has two baskets and two tee pads. Some holes even have 3 baskets. Great variety of shots for changing the tempo. Open bombers to tight technical par 4's, gotta love it.

Not a beginner friendly course. But very well maintained. Excellent tee box signs. Great for learning your shot placement. This course will challenge all aspects of your disc golf game! If anyone rates this course less than a 4, they are giving their review based on their own disc golf ability level. Just because this course kicked your tail, doesn’t make it a bad course.
