Layout needs some tweaking to help the course flow, well designed overall, just does not flow at all and a lot of extra unnecessary walking.

Overall course is great, minus Hole 12 just a horrible hole. Course flow could be better spent a lot of time walking on other fairways. Without udisc course would be hard to navigate.

Wooded and technical course incorporating elevation for a difficult, challenging, and exciting experience! Definitely one of the top courses in the state!

This is a very nice place. Anybody would be lucky to place this course on the regular. Please put some next indicators. A couple of zip ties would be great.

Solid 18 hole course. Short & long tee-pad options on a majority of the holes. Some signage is hard to follow, easiest to navigate using UDisc. Good mix of shot shapes & distances. A few fun par 4’s mixed in. Technical/wooded golf. Worth a visit if you’re in the area or looking for something new to play!

Needs much better signage for navigating the course, which has a convoluted layout

Well maintained course but could use some better signage, better flow, and some longer tee pads

Average course. Wish I was here when some other placements were in.

Really cool and fun course. Weird and confusing layout, without udisc id still be out there. Needs more garbage cans.

The lack of course signage and a clear direction on where to go next is valid criticism and why I cannot give this course five stars. USE UDISC FOR PIN LOCATIONS! There are restrooms off of hole 15 that are seasonal, so basically no amenities in the park’s off season. Now onto the course. The beautiful thing about Cottonmill is the landscape that provides a range of elevation throughout the entire course. You have minimal flat shots, slight shifts in downhill and uphill shots, and multiple shots with significant elevation change. Add the trees and view of the lake and it is picturesque. This course has hardly any artificial OB, but it is still quite challenging. The narrow corridors and some low ceilings make you hone in on your straight shots and distance control. Being slightly off the mark can/will punish you. Most basket locations require distance control on your drive and/or upshot, and confidence in your putt. It is surprising to hear some of the complaints about this course and then have courses recommended that have the same issue. Play Cottonmill, the negative reviews are few and far between.

Scenery is gorgeous. Courses design leaves a lot to be desired. A few amazing holes scattered throughout, but overall score ruined by the awful course flow. Almost every hole has either an overlapping or zig zagging fairway with another hole, or requires you to backtrack the entire fairway of the hole to get to the next hole. Surprised to see this is rated the best course in Nebraska - go play Beal slough or Hummel instead.

Good par 4s (mostly)… the rest of the design is pretty questionable. 2-3 decent par 3s.

There needs to be something between a 4.5 and a 5... because this is a 4.8 at least. My only complaint- and it is minor - was the lack of "next tee" signs. There is an indicator on each tee sign so pay attention to those. Also, a couple of fairways seem to cross which would be a bummer in a tournament. That said.... Beautiful views of the pond. Great use of the space there. A lot of risk/reward shots. Super fun and not that far off of I-80 is a huge bonus. Stop here if you get the chance.

Very awesome wooden course. True wood course, not some trees here and there. Very glad I pulled in to play it.

Total bummer. Front 9 design is pretty bad and confusing. Bunch of blind shots. Not often do I not finish a course. I have been to alot of courses and this was disappointing

Solid disc golf course overall. Nothing extraordinary or overly fun; just a good course.

Potential is all there for one of the best courses in the state. Erosion control is needed in some places. Other places some branches and bushes need trimmed. Some mulch would be great to help with muddy greens. Layout is a bit confusing and hard to navigate

Absolutely loved this course. We played long tees. Great challenge with so much variety. So hard to find wooded par 4’s! It was beautiful and well maintained. A must play!
