Drove up from Charlotte to play the short, definitely worth the drive. Awesome bathrooms, beautiful lake scenery, and there’s even a dam by one of the tees in the back 9. Gorgeous, stunning, definitely coming back for the longs.
@wildcat410
Overall a good course. Signage to next tee could be better. There were 3-4 times I had to check U-Disc to find my way around, I’m sure some of them could have been me not paying enough attention to details, but it was still confusing nonetheless. Tee signs were pretty inaccurate, there was 4-5 really bad instances that I didn’t run half way up the fairway I wouldn’t have thrown the right shot. Still a good course, views were cool! Shooting next to a waterfall and hearing the running water was a neat experience. Decent shot lines. Not a course I’d say to go out of your way for, but a very solid course to go to if in the area or on the way to another course.
@runningschu
Probably the most fun round I’ve had in a long time. Great views. Back 9 has some elevation.
@pacmanthehemi
The course utilizes the space here very well. A decent variety of shots some wooded some open. It is very hilly here so I would say if you have difficulty walking, you probably wouldn’t wanna do this course. Thank you for maintaining the course for us to enjoy. There were a few holes where the keypad locations were a bit off, but the signage made it pretty easy to get around.
@bradner
Great mix of open and wooded holes. Lots of elevation.
@jake1234
Shortish length holes but plenty of difficulty from the longs here. Expect to shoot under par, see how low you can go.
@smorr34
Beautiful courses with a lot of hills and great mix of open and wooded shots. Tee box distances for all skill levels. One of the best courses around in my opinion.
@twhite124
Great park and course. Gorgeous scenery and nice elevation which you don’t get in Charlotte. Lots of ground cover so make sure you keep your eyes on your drives. Back 9 is the more technical 9 Lots of par 4s that require good placement off the tee. Nice hike but loops back to parking lot after 9 so can replenish at the turn. Fantastic course can’t wait to come back.
@princelayup
It's still amazes me that there's this beautiful of a disc golf course and basically the middle of nowhere. Great course beautiful scenery wish it was closer to home
@mattmarkham
A challenging course from the blues. Having a variety of shots is crucial here.
@benaltmire
Decent course but be ready for a hike especially the back 9. Strange fairways and extreme elevation at points
@mstrjollo
Intermediate track. Challenges your accuracy in the woods and opens up on a few holes to unleash your full potential. Not even close to a 4.0 though. Intermediate from the Longs Beginner from the shorts.
@daddyballard
Great course. Mostly wooded. Really nice blend of tightness in the woods. Lots of elevation change.
@cmonteith
Great shot variety, one of the most fun courses in the greater Charlotte area
@johnhess
Great course that has distances and shot shapes that will make you use every disc in you bag at least once. Lots of elevation, combined with some fairly thick wooded holes can give you some gnarly and often unfair tree kicks
@papiboof
Very challenging but scenic and well designed. Stay out of the woods or you’re fighting while way out
@bobcatbuckface
Pretty course, locals love it but I think it’s the 4th best course in the area. I think Fox Chase, Goose, and Hardaway are better courses.
