About the course

***Update August 8, 2025*** Pitkin County has issued Stage 2 fire restrictions county-wide. This means you may not smoke outdoors unless you are in an enclosed vehicle or in a cleared area. There are no cleared areas on the OM disc golf course appropriate for smoking during fire restrictions. Please do not smoke while on our property during this high fire danger period. If you are caught smoking, you will be told to leave immediately. I don't want to be a jerk, but I have even less desire to be homeless. Thank you for respecting my home and complying with this requirement. ***** Lots of elevation change in play, tight lines, some blind shots, some big open throws. Overall philosophy is to award accurate, well placed throws. Constructed in spring '24. Refinement is ongoing. Course is pretty rugged; sturdy closed-toe shoes recommended. Some areas may be wet or marshy. Fields are flood irrigated periodically throughout summer. I've designed fairways to avoid flooded fields, but errant drives on 4, 15, 16, and 18 might put you in a flooded/soggy spot. Directions and additional course notes: From hwy 82, go south on Snowmass Creek Rd 1.7 miles to a tee. At the tee go right onto Capitol Creek Rd. From Aspen you could also take Watson Divide Rd, going right when you get to Snowmass Creek Rd, and staying left onto Capitol Creek Rd just after passing the fire station. We're 2 miles up Capitol Creek Rd, the first driveway on the right after you pass Elk Creek Rd. Come all the way up the driveway, go left just after the gazebo, and park in the grass on the right before you go through the gate. The first tee is just on the south side of the old tall shed. AT&T is the only mobile network available. If you're on any other network, expect to have no cell service. Start your Udisc round before you get here so you can record your round! Rumor is that Verizon has recently improved coverage in the area. Tees are marked with a tee sign, 6" orange survey whiskers, and a taller orange survey flag on most holes. Keep an eye out for the plentiful cactus on right side of hole 9 fairway, around pin 12, and throughout holes 13 and 14. Please pack out all trash. Discretely water a bush if you need to pee. All buildings are off-limits and should be considered dangerous. ***NEW!*** We've recently added a disc Lending Library. You may use as many of the discs in the library as you'd like while on Circle M property. Please return them when you are done with your round, and do not remove them from the property. This is an honor system amenity. Please be honorable. Have fun, and please provide feedback either via review or email. Donations for upkeep and improvements welcome! Donation box, PayPal and Venmo links available on info sign mounted on north (parking area) side of tall shed.

This course is a gem. Beautiful views, great and challenging holes, and good variety. There are some holes you will benefit having a spotter off the tee on. Can't wait to go back and play it when I come back to Colorado next summer.
