Wish I could go higher, but these lines don’t seem very fair. Unless you’re 950 or higher, much of this course is just playing for par and not losing a disc when you get off the fairway. I didn’t play the 9 hole course, but if you’re an intermediate player, I’d suggest playing the front 9 on this course and the 9 holes on the other course. The back 9 on this course will take your lunch. I was +2 on the front 9 and +9 on the back as a 900 rated player. Last suggestion is come in the winter or early spring so it’s not as overgrown and the fairways are a bit wider.
@joshtoonice
Course needs trash cans! I picked up several cans myself and never found a place to throw it away until you get back to the beginning.
@tylergrooms333
Very tough tight wooded fairways
@garbonso82
Behind WR Jackson this is the most beautiful course I’ve ever played. It’s tough but worth the struggle. Absolutely loved it. Wish I lived closer but it’s at the top of my list of destination courses now. You just can’t beat grass fairways in the middle of the woods.
@vistadiscgolf
Absolute gem about an hour outside of Charlotte. All woods all the time. Some shorter technical holes and a few long wooded par 5s but very fair fairways. Must play if you’re anywhere close.
@reilly
Such a beautiful course. Some really long technical lines. A little overgrown at the time of play but overall a great time!
@cmonteith
Well designed, challenging, but fair course. Some of the gaps need some light trimming to be legit and fair. Would bump to 4.5 stars if properly groomed and some added transitional signage/arrows. Hole 2 gold pad is pretty off on the gps.
@jmeehan631
Gorgeous course. Fair lines, beautiful fairways with lots of pines and maples with grassy fairways. Amazing course.
@brossiva
Beautiful course. We played the Blues. For an intermediate player it was challenging but fair.
@peptoshotz
Beautiful park with a disc golf course in it. Tees and fairways are clear and well maintained, but very overgrown outside of the fairways. Makes sense, it's a state park. People better than me may really enjoy the course, I found it to be a bit more stressful than I'm looking for.
@heathryan17
Absolutely beautiful great green,clear direction to the next basket, and a mixture of long and challenging and a few easy holes. Definitely recommend and will be back
@rhynoheart
Tees need something to sweep them clean and maybe some well placed trash bins through crouse. Woods in the back nine are not forgiving , but throughly enjoyed this location and layout. Very impressed with the up keep and challenging crouse. Definitely one of my new favorites in the state.
@austinaiello
Great course design, tee pads, signage, and upkeep. I only had 2 issues with the course: the rough is unscambleable in a lot of places, which paired with tight fairways makes a lot of holes "pure it or die" kind of holes. And my other issue is that there were an absurd number of spider webs. I'm not really squeamish with bugs, but it sucked to walk face first into 5-8 spider webs PER HOLE and ON the fairway. I'm sure this is due in part to low traffic, and not really the fault of the staff or designer. But man, I was waving my disc retriever in front of me with every step after hole 3.
@mulrooney31
Great course. I would have enjoyed it more if I weren't the worst disc golfer in history
@jonathanfrye
Very beautiful, very tough and challenging. Worth the hour’s drive from the Columbia area. Will demand every type of shot in your arsenal, and will test the limits of your disc golf skill
@pdskaar
Beautiful, very hard, fun, big throws, heavy woods, really really thick rough off the fairway
